They opened on Friday and I went to check it out today!!! I walked out $40 later! I also made 2 make n takes...very cute 3x3 cards! Their paper is yum-o...saw all the delish Basic Grey papers y'all are using!!! What did I get...I got me some "bling," a bottle of Stickles (which I cannot wait to use), some primas (wooohooo), some Ferrar floral stamps (I think that's her name....$1.99), a pk of K & Co paper. and some great black and white paper!!! I think I got more but I cannot remember!! I keep thinking about all the yummy paper...oh and a free roll of ribbon!
I live in Chattanooga, but I am a little familiar with Marietta...where is the store? When I say I'm familiar that basically means I know where Town Center is...
I'm referring to Town Center at Cobb, the big shopping mall off of the interstate travelling south into Atlanta. I believe it's off of Barrett Pkwy.
Good to know, thanks. I've been to an Archivers in Atlanta, but it's further in and not worth the traffic! My DH and DD have season passes to Six Flags, maybe I'll tag along next time and spend the day at Archivers! hee, hee
oh i love archivers!!! whenever i want to go i tempt my dh with a trip to bass pro which is in the same mall then i ditch him there to go to archivers. now they built a bass pro about 40 minutes from us so now that wont work anymore. i wish archivers would build a store close to me the nearest one is over 3 hours away
So jealous ladies! I live in Orlando...you'd think close to the happiest place on earth (Disney) there would have to be an Archivers! I guess I will have to drive up to GA for a scrap adventure!
Happy Tuesday!8-)
Hey there in Orlando! Do you guys still have a fantastic stamp store down there? I was there several years ago and went to the best stamp store ever! I don't remember the name of it. I plan on being back that way in Dec., was just wondering?
Hi Alexis - I am New York grown and now a Georgia Peach too! I grew up on Long Island and been living in Georgia for almost 18 years now. I love Archivers too. I can't wait to go to the new Archivers in Marietta. I live on the southside of ATL so it's still about an hour's drive. Can't wait til they hold their crops. I will spend the entire day there.
We are heading to TN Friday and I plan on stopping by and visiting Archivers!! I can't wait!! From the looks of it, should be pretty easy to get to from I75. I hope anyhow!
For you ladies that do not have an Archivers near you but visit one on vacation or a road trip....make sure you sign up for their newsletters even though you do not live in that area...that is how they find out where to open a new store...I work at Archivers and its a love hate relationship....I make no money there but I have GREAT supplies hahaha!!
I just visited the new one too! GREAT, great paper-wow! I managed not to buy anything because I am on one of my self imposed: "i can't buy until I do some scrappin" punishments!! But....i may have to go back and check out the clearance section again-they had some cute stamps at 75% off!! It's right down the street from town center mall (to the east-for the poster above who was familiar with the area)-look for the Barnes and Noble, or Steinmart and you'll find it! A little more expensive than my usual, since I usually take advantage of sales and coupons at michael's/hobby lobby but they have every color cardstock under the rainbow!!!!
