My DH is a Cast Member for Disney and he just found out that he got excepted for a new position in the company. He is going to be a new member of the Dream Squad for the Year of a Million Dreams Celebration. Were so excited you had to be recommend for this by your managers and he was and he went to the interview on thursday the 24th and they call him yesterday and gave him the good news. He will start on the 10th of Septmeber. I hope it was ok to share this here, I'm just so excited want to tell all.

My dd's ballet teacher is a cast member as well. She loves it and I just got to see some of her pics yesterday! It is really cool!!! I would love to work at a place like Disney but not in costume!!! More of an office type personally!!! LOL!

Wow, how fun it must be to work at Disney! Congrats to your DH. We're taking the grandkids in October - bet we'll see him. Ask him to wave so we'll know who he is.
Great news! We LOVE Disneyland and travel there as much as humanly possible. I have had friends who worked there and have wonderful stories about what a great place it is to work at. We still haven't been to Florida. Congratulations to both of you! - Gay Howe
Oh how very cool my hubby and I and our 1 year old just went to disneyland last week it was my first time and I had so much fun I can not wait to go back again.

so happy for you ...my in laws live in Orlando and we'll be visiting in November. I'll be secretly thinking I somehow know everyone I see in character!
DH says thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. He is very excited and can't wait to find out what all will be happening. He knows that he'll randomly be making dreams come true plus he'll be involved with some of the contest winners who are going to get to sleep in the castle for one night.
Please if any of you are coming to the World and would like to meet or just hang out let us know we love to show people around and enjoy the parks with others. So feel free to ask anytime.
