I'M OFFICIAL!!
Okay, so it's official. I got my demo # today!! Just waiting on Big Brown to deliver. Yippee!! I already have a party lined up. I'm sooooo excited. This weekend I am sitting down to plan my very first party!!! I have a terrific upline, and tons of great friends that are spreading the word!! I can hardly wait for the truck to come!! Any tips for newbies would be greatly appreciated.

according to ups, my stuff should arrive on wednesday. the waiting is killing me. I already have a workshop scheduled, and a list of people who can't come to that one, but want me to schedule another (which will actually have to be two more b/c there are soooo many people!!) I have 2 people that want me to have "private" classes for them, because they can't make it any other time. I'm so excited!!!!!

I just can't wait to get my demo # (hopefully by Friday). My kit should arrive next week! How long after you sent your paperwork in did you get your number? Just curious.

It was a couple of days between the time I gave my upline my paperwork until I got the confirmation email. Less than a week. Good luck!!

I think I'm going to camp on my front porch and wait for "brown" also! I got my confirmation email that SU! received my order. Just waitin on my demo number now, and of course, my kit!!! |

BIG BROWN IS COMING TODAY!!!!
I just checked the ups tracking thing, and my kit left Dallas at 2 am today. I only live 2 hours or so from Dallas, so my goodies should be here soon!! I am so wicked excited!!!!!! AND my incentive stamps that I ordered are scheduled to be here on Friday!! Two packages in one week, I can barely contain my excitement!
AND yesterday, I had another potential customer sign up for my class, and she is bringing her mom and sister (who are both hard core stampers that are currently demo-less) so things are really looking up in my demo/stampin world!!

Becky, did you sway out any of the recommended stamp sets? What free set did you get! Did you get the tracking number from SU!? I am hoping that mine comes on Valentines Day (which would be awesome since it was VD gift from DH).
I have a couple of potential customers right now (I am just being a hobby demo for now). I am hoping that SU! got my application today. I am on pins and needles waiting. Demo number, VSN what more could a girl get in one weekend!
Just remember you need to take a couple of breaks from your kit today. You need to eat and keep your energy up!!!

This is the first I've heard about a free set!! Oh no!! How many sets total was I supposed to get? I know there was some confusion about my order form. I had to end up faxing them a new one.
Here is what I got:
birthday banter

and the star studded wheel
Anyway, I got my tracking number from su! then went on the ups website and checked my package's progress.
I am expecting another package on friday, so I am super excited today. I can't wait to get my new toys!!
I hope you get your package BEFORE valentines day. That would be an awesome vd gift!!

The recruitment special was for any stamp set in the Catty up to $39.95! I tried to get the Tag Punch Kit but they said no it isn't a stamp set (even though it has stamps in it--oh well I will get it at Stamp Club this month). I ended up getting Headline Alphabet set.
I would check with your upline about this. It is in the front of the Sell-A-Bration catty (at first I thought it was any set from SAB). I love FREE stuff! Let me know what you find out!!!
I just checked my email and nothing yet. Of course it is only 7:46 in Utah (I'm in Indiana, just north of Louisville, KY). So I will spend some time at the grocery, some cleaning up my office, some working on a swap, some on the computer (got to check to see if they got it) . Yep that should take up a couple of hours.

I have been soooo patient all day (for me anyways), and I was so excited knowing I was coming home to a big ol' box!! Major letdown pulling into the driveway. Hopefully they will show up soon. I mean, it's not even 4 yet. Almost, 2 minutes to go...said while pacing the floor...

Hey girls,
I've been thinking really hard about becoming a SU demo. Not so much for saleing things but for supporting my hobby. I know of a few friends that like to stamp so they could probally help me with the minimum sale thing. I just can't make my mind up. I currently am a CTMH demo (which only to support my habbit for now) I have done much with it but the min. quarterly sales were not bad and the stuff you get with the kit was great. I just see that SU has alot more stamps. I have been with SU for about 4 yrs and have been in a stamp club with them for awhile. I don't know. I guess what I'm trying to do is talk myself into doing it..

I say go for it!! It is so fun and the joy of the "preordering" that we can do is awesome. Not to mention that we now get all hostess benefits on our Demonstrator orders now too!! |
