Default Angel Stampers for Soldiers

Angel Stampers for Soldiers has announced a special need for 120 thank you cards for veteran soldiers in a Veteran Nursing Home. If you could make a card with a thank you note written to a soldier inside you will be lifting the spirits of a veteran of one of our past wars. Send your card to:

Cards for Veterans
c/o Keith O'Brien
2320 Merrily Circle N
Seffner, FL 33584

Here the guidelines for making your card:

I live in a town next to where these are being sent. Do you know which Veteran Nursing Home these are going to?
Thanks!

The information I received does not say the name of the Veteran's Nursing Home. I do need to add, however, that Keith needs the cards by October 27th. For every card he receives he, personally, will donate $1.00 towards Walmart gift cards to give the Vets.

Question for you, others have said cards for wounded soldiers should NOT include any glitter, to avoid wound contamination. Would this be a similar situation? Avoid cards with glitter?

I emailed Keith and here is his response:

"I think Glitter is fine. This a long term care nursing home. These Vets are
not *recently* wounded...they are from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the first
Gulf War. I'll ask my contact on Monday but I am sure it is OK. I've
delivered other handmade cards to other local Veteran's facilities and they
have never told me to restrict the use of glitter. I suspect that only
applies to the recently wounded."
