Tianne let me sit at her chair, so I felt like an accomplished stamper!!
OMG it was sooooooooooo much fun!!

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. ..today involved a lot of chocolate...must do treadmill tomorrow...
My husband asked me what I was so tired from as I was napping early evening on the couch....he said from doin' this all day (demonstrating stamp to ink pad to paper)...had to tell him to shut his yap. He obviously doesn't realize how much talking was involved too!
We must do this again & again & again...we were a great bunch I must say.

I agree Kim. just give a person some stamps, ink, paper and chocolate and oh yes, her stamp a ma jig.... Add 17 others and you have a day of fun!!!
I know, I picked up my son from High school and came home and just vegged out... Having fun wears a person out!!!
I agree, what a great bunch of stampers.

I have to say that Danita's Butt Stamping for the Paisley card makes her the Queen of Lana's Butt Stamping Technique. You go girl!!
And Karrie, I need to email you You really held my hand while I was getting ready for this wonderful event.
I wouldn't never finished my swaps if it weren't for Molly and her help!!
I had just as much fun stamping as I did talking to everyone. OMG you ladies Rock!!!I loved it and can't wait til we do this again!!
Gotta go do some laundry...

Add me too!
Hey, Bev! Add me, too! I just moved up here, and also didn't find out in time to sign up. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't have been able to come anyway, because I'm still nursing my baby girl. I'm definitely planning to wean her before the next get together though! I'm down in Plainfield, but I'd easily make the drive to meet some fellow SCSers! It sounds like you girls had a great time, and I'm Glorious Green with envy!

Also, thanks to Kim who privately emailed everyone, I got a ton of stamped items for hosting the Stamping Together ...It was like Christmas and oh so much better cuz it was all stamp stuff!!!! And a "Rag"Magazine is that what you call them? --- to veg out with. How lucky was I? Very lucky!!!

Can you send it to me at my private email? It seems that if it comes email then it would go in gallery. Kim might know cuz she has downloaded digital images. If you had a stamp a ma jig you could wave it over your computer and say the magic words and it would probalby work!!LOL
I know the down loads are slow. Lots of people are adding to the gallery. Can you download it in this forum as an attachment?
Don't call the geek patrol yet...

I feel like I am talking to my self....ha ha. Anyway, I have to confess...Aileen made me this cute goodie bag and filled it with home made yummies. I ate them for breakfast. Now that is what I call "A Breakfast of Champions-the stampers way"
It's now almost supper time and I am craving those homemade goodies...Aileen do you deliver door to door?

Me, me, I'm "daring" enough to go! Or just that addicted to feel I have to go to both! This one was sooooo much fun, I just can't wait till April 2!! Wow, I'm still flying from all the fun and creative energy from Saturday!
Bev - you are truly a wonder to have organized this incredible event!! And thank you so much for introducing me to the shaker card - what fun! Have to give a shout out to Cami for the lovely sand!
And thanks to all for telling me about Archivers. WOW! I went to the one in Algonquin on Sunday and dropped a mere hundred bucks! And I restrained myself!! The closest one to me is Indy...may just have to make the trip! I felt like I had walked into my haven!!
I would be sooo up for doing this again with all of you ladies! You inspire me!!!

I went to the craft store this morning and bought some 3m foam tape and well let me tell you I have been going crazy making shaker cards since I got home. Totally lost track of time, and suddenly realized that I've got to take my 3 year old to preschool and head over to my 7 year old sons school to do lunch supervisor! I just want to stay home and shake!!!!!

Woohoo, we had a funtastic time! Be jealous if you didn't go!!
Bev, thanks so much for organizing everything. Cindy G. had a chocolate high all day! I think I got a lot done because I filled up on Smarties. We definitely have to do this again. It was great to meet everybody. Maybe we should have more food next time. I think Kim left a little hungry - NOT! Did I say that? ....Alison told me to. :P

Hi Bev and Everyone who was at the Sat. IL SCS event!!! It was great and someone should tell the people at StampamJig that it also can be used as a microphone.
I posted pictures at:
http://community.webshots.com/user/jules613613
go to the "newest" and they should be there!
Thanks again, and can't wait for the next one!!!

Just took a sneak peek on scs to see what is going on.
OMG!! I am laughing just thinking about the fun we had. OMG!! It was truly an amazing day.
Julie I loved your pictures and your comments ...made my day!!
Danita, I tried Butt stamping and although I have a rather ample butt for this...I didn't pay close enough attention to your instructions...so my friend,Sam, who was there on Saturday, listened more carefully than me, so at lunch I am practicing Butt stamping!!(Just the correct way to approach it...didn't have the stamp or ink with me.) I think I got it now!!
OMG You ladies, we need to meet and go shopping....My golly gosh, Tianne and Danita...I love how you shop!!! We are so worthy!
I know I love shaker cards, too, Julie, Gosh, how time flies when you are making shaker cards....Geez... Let's all go shopping!!!!
well I suppose my family will want to eat tonite...better go find something to fix
Hmm and Kim didn't get enough to eat???? What's the story on that?

It's me again. I just turned on the oven..... so it appears that I am making supper instead of being on SCS....
I have 2 questions-
#1.When is the next quarter? So we can start figuring out a date for the next time to stamp together and
#2. Danita, give us a report on the Shoebox swap get together...so you can tell us which way you think we would do better at...If that makes sense. I can go either way...
That's all folks!!
