Smile I did it all by myself!!!!!!!!!!

I am so proud of myself I had to let you all know!
I just signed on as a demo and am trying to get my craft room organized before my kit comes in the mail and I have more stuff to put away.
During my thrift store shopping I found 2 peices of peg
board......$1.50each.
Then I went to Loew's and got a peice of plywood that I had cut into 4 peices to hold up the pegboard, a package of screws with anchors and some pegs.......$4.50
When I got home I painted the pegboard and plywood with some white paint I had left over from my last project and then attached it to the wall.
I did all this as my DH watched TV and played with my son. (Lazy Bum!)
The fact that I did this all by myself is......
Priceless!!!!

My room looks fantastic with the pegboard up and I can hang so many things that I use all the time within my reach. (Heat Gun, scissors, etc.)
When I finish cleaning it up a bit I will take pics and post them.
Thank you all for reading this and I hope I have inspired some of you to be Mrs. Home Improvements.........hey......who needs men when we can do it ourselves!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! That's awesome! The few times I've ventured into mounting things on the wall (like some bracket shelving for my former craft room) I found it to be a bit more effort and time than I expected. I felt like I spent most of the day marking and drilling holes into studs, even with a low-tech studfinder and a power drill! Good for you that you pulled off this DIY so quickly and painlessly!!!

Take pictures and post them, I would love to see them. I was about to do the pegboard thing myself, but when we moved I hardly even have wall space in my stamp area. I am going to try to do a pegboard, they look so handy!

Default thanks for the inspiration !

Congratulations !! You have inspired me to 'clean up' my corner !!
I have carved out a corner of the kids' playroom for my 'space' and being that my space is so limited something like what you made sounds perfect !! I am going to try my hand at making something like that as well !!
