I have to wait until I get home from work to check for mine. Hopefully I have it too.
Texaslonghorns - I love your avatar. What your little darling's name? The expression is adorable. I'm a small dog nut - love 'em dearly. I like some big dogs too - labs & goldens. Other big dogs I get nervous around.

I got it!..........BUT I have a problem.
I love the cookbook and am looking forward to trying some of the yummy sounding recipes. BUT...... I had submitted about 10 recipes and not a one of them made the cookbook. I'm a little disappointed. I thought they were good recipes - but they didn't make it.
Maybe next time.......

I received my cookbook today!!!!! Awesome job Catie! Thanks for your dedication and hard work! Can't wait to try some of the recipes!!! For the person that submitted the recipe for Chocolate Gravy - I now have proof in writing that it exists! Thank You! Nobody believes me when I tell them about this treat Mama used to make for us when we were kids!

Sue don't take offense. None of the seven I submitted were included either. I double checked and am showing where I emailed it to the hotmail address early last Dec. I'm guessing that it was just an honest mistake - not that they actually picked & chose which were going to make it in. I'm sure this was quite an undertaking with, unfortunately, cracks for some things to slip through.......still I do know how it is -- flipping through right away to find the ones that are yours!

I figured that this would ruffle feathers. This in NO WAY was intended as an offense to ANYONE! (Please reference granijani's thread here:
http://forums.splitcoaststampers.com...ad.php?t=74896 )
We have no idea why some recipes were not included. Even Daven's AWESOME Cesear Salad isn't in there. Jenn's Pear Bars recipe didn't make it either. And these are the ones that I am aware of.
Rest assured, I STILL have ALL those e-mails. When things calm down just a bit more, I will check the cookbook against the submitted recipes and those that inadvertantly were left out WILL GO INTO VOLUME 2.
And as a pre-emptive strike, I am apologizing for the lack of an index. This was one of the files that just went *poof*. But I think Doug did a GREAT job.
Otherwise, thanks for the love everyone! I really hope you like it.

Great Recipe Book!
I got my recipe book today and have already checked those I want to try right away!
I also submitted recipes that were not included, and I hope that there is a second book that will include those that were not included in this book plus the many more recipes that should be submitted by the many Splitcoaststampers!
Putting together a recipe book is an awesome task, and I certainly appreciate the efforts that you ladies put forth in getting this one published. It is a wonderful book!!!!!!!

Catie,
Got my cookbook today and love it! Lots of great recipes to try... although I don't know how good many of them will be to the waistline. LOL So many decadent treats!
Thank you and the Fab 5 for taking on the project... I definitely appreciate the work and efforts y'all put into it. Hopefully, you can rest soon now that all is said and done!
Great job!
