Sure... I'll help!! I only do 10-12 loads per week though. How long do you want me to save them before sending them to you??

Well... I have 5 children and a husband that go through lots of clothes and towels!! And then there's the sheets every week too.

I did just get a front loader washer and dryer last week and I must admit that I only needed to do 8 loads because they hold so much more.

Just a busy family, I guess

Default Newbie...

By the way, I'm not a card stock collector, not sure where that bit of information appeared from...

You could go to the local laudromats and see if they'd let you put a box with a sign on it to collect the sheets used there.

~Or~

You could wash a load of junk towels (or the stuff in your rag bag) and take it to the laundromat and throw them in a dryer with a whole box of dryer sheets. You would probably want to rewash the load of junk towels before you take them home - that way, your whole house doesn't smell like dryer sheets forever.

I am also curious about using dryer sheets for a card! Sounds interesting. I wll not have any to spare though until after Halloween! My 5 year old and I make them into ghosts! He will help me with the laundry if I make some for him, just rubber bands and a sharpie marker! Great cheap fun!

The dryer sheets can be used on cards like mulberry paper. SU ink refills color them nicely, or you can leave them white. I attach mine with brads, eyelets or ribbon as most are too pourous for any adhesive not to remain tacky to the touch underneath.
