Happy Fourth of July to everyone! I hope you are all enjoying a day of rest and reflecting on our great nation! (And a day of stamping, too! )

Thumbs up Great Post - July 4

Thanks for a short and sweet post. My family and I did enjoy the day, although it rained ALL day. I was born on July 4, in Washgington DC to military parents, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center! Needless to say, July 4 is a very special day for me.

My mom ALWAYS made a HUGE deal about my birthday. She was very patiotic. Sadly, I didn't totally get it until 9/11. My husband thinks I'm a spoiled brat because I want my birthday to be special (don't get me wrong, it's special to him too, but not like it is to me). I hope to pass this patriotism down to my children.

The only thing diappointing this year was they didn't decorate like they usually do.

So, happy birthday America and may we ALL remember what the true meaning of this day is!
Happy stampin
