Gallery Problems - Please Read!
 

Hey everyone -

Please see the announcement on the home page regarding a gallery problem we are having.

We are asking that members not upload until this is resolved to allow tech support to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

Definitely not! :)

However, if you see your images with broken thumbnails being moved to a special gallery, please do not be alarmed, and do not try to edit them.

Everything will go back to normal after we fix it.

Oops- I uploaded a card today, too! Thanks for letting us know. I'll be sure to check here first before uploading again!

I too, uploaded today without seeing the homepage message! So sorry, and thanks for all of the hard work getting things fixed for us SCS addicts! :)

just checking to see if there was an update. I noticed several things uploaded this morning but I didn't want to try until I knew for sure.

Me too, just checking. I am seeing lots of uploads, but I notice some of them are in a category called Broken Thumbnails, so I presume there is still some sort of issue.

Yes, nothing has changed. What you are seeing is us moving things around.

Is there an update?

The update is that they are still working on the problem. It probably will be tomorrow that the gallery is restored to normal, but as soon as I hear I will update if that changes!

Hello my people...

Uploading can resume.

The only thing you will notice is that the name of the Member Gallery in your dropdown is now called (Temp Member Galleries).

This is temporary, and you can treat it as you would your member gallery.

After our dev team finishes repairs, everything will go back to normal.

Let's see your cards!!!

My card from the other day is still showing as a red x. Should I try to change it out or will that get fixed?

The FTTC65 gallery shows a few cards loaded by my blog team members earlier. I do not know if their cards are in the Flourishes (member gallery) or what, but it told me when I tried to comment that user comments are not allowed! Can you help me with this? Is it something I am doing wrong or still the wonky gallery stuff? Just making sure! TIA!

I REALLY appreciate all that you are doing behind the scenes! I know computer code is tough!

It may just be me! However, I have commented on other cards today.
Barbara did a testing on her card after we emailed each other...

I tried to comment after her, but to no avail for me. Then, I asked if she could check out this card in gallery and it worked for her! Not for me!

Well I don't always go to the home page either and I tried to edit mine and ended up deleting it. I also sent an email to the webmaster, so I guess you can ignore it.

My card still shows a red x in my gallery. Should I reload it or will it be fixed in time?

I have the same thing for one of my cards, but it's only the thumbnail that's not showing, when I click on the pic, it does show up full size.

It will be fixed :) All new images are fine, and the old ones will be fix when our permanent fix is completed.

Does this mean that the search feature in the Favorites will be working like it used to? Hopefully? Pretty please?

Are the problems fixed? I didn't see the announcement on the home page but my card is showing an "X" where the picture should be. Even though the picture shows on my gallery, I had a comment where when you click to enlarage the picture it won't show anything.

We have not re-enabled member galleries or restored the X pictures yet, but new uploads into our temp gallery are working. All of the X pictures will be restored, it will just take a little time...
