Florida Tax Break week
If you live in Fl. this is a great time to stock up on supplies you can buy at Walmart, Target, and office supply stores TAX FREE!!!!
Or just treat yourself to a new outfit. If you don't live in Fl. do a search for your state. Most states offer something similar this time of year!!! 2006 Sales Tax Holiday planned for summer Governor Bush and the Florida Legislature have approved Senate Bill 692, which provides that the 2006 Tax Free Days for Sales Tax will begin at 12:01 a.m., July 22, 2006, and end at midnight, July 30, 2006. Senate Bill 692 provides for a sales tax holiday on: Clothing and related items with a sales price of $50 or less Books with a sales price of $50 or less School supplies with a sales price of $10 or less |
Thanks Nancy for the reminder.....it's also a good time to buy a few SU items tax free too. Demonstrators can access a list of qualifying items on the SU site.

I just looked on the chart SU made for demos and found the following list of states and dates:
