More upgrades tomorrow.
I figured I would post this in the Announcements thread because not all of us on SCS go to the home page when we come here. If you want to see the original post Click Here.
Here is what Daven has to say:

Once we're back, you can expect a little more zip. The site has been painfully slow for some weeks now, so we're swapping our central database server for a new one with double the capacity. Pages should load faster, with less wait time. This is a happy thing.
Maintenance times are hard to predict exactly, so it's entirely possible that we may be down for a shorter time � or perhaps even a little longer.
As always, your store purchases, Fan Club subscriptions, and the support of our advertisers make these enhancements possible. Thank you!
Keeping up with traffic growth is a constant challenge around here, but a problem we love to have. Tom, Scott, and our friends at Rackspace apply some serious geekery to the task of keeping Splitcoast up and running every day, and we're oh so fortunate to have them. |

During downtime I'll....
