I just have to give a big congrats to my friend Tami Mayberry who had her first published book released today! :mrgreen:

It's such a joy to watch someone work hard, persevere through adversity and then see their dreams true.

It's also fun to congratulate all of the familiar faces that participated in this book and brought Tami's sketches to life. I know our own JulieHRR and Lisa Johnson have several designs featured. Congrats to you gals too!

:oops: Thanks so much Lisa! This was a very exciting surprise after hearing the release date was moved to *next* September. I am so glad they changed their minds. I was just looking on the site and it says 48 copies in stock, so it looks like it will be a fast sell out.

I am told this is an AMAZING book, and from just the few designers I have seen on the list it can't help but being anything but amazing. I want to extend a huge congrats to all of the designers in there...some of the the ones I have heard mention of being in there are:

LOL !!! I was trying so hard to stay awake last night but I couldn't do it....I was drop dead tired at midnight...I had been up since six am and had had my neighbors THREE KIDS in addition to my own three.... LOL it was a looooooong day yesterday!

Someone posted on CPS that they were gone too. I checked this morning and it said 28 in stock so they must have made more available early this morning. Of course that 28 dropped to 23 in a few minutes when I went back to make sure that was right LOL so those may go fast too. I'm not sure how it works, hoping to get more info. I do know that they weren't planning on printing a huge amount of them at this time. Thanks for all the support girls.

I really want to give a HUGE congrats to all of those amazing designers who have cards in the book, they are the ones who really make the book so great...not me. If it were just me it would be sitting there on the shelf collecting dust ;)

I hope they set aside enough copies to send to each of the contributors--if they don't do another print until September 08, that's such a long time to wait . . . :(

I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I can't wait for it to come!!! Tami's sketchs on CPS are so fun I can't wait to see what the book holds....and SAMPLES!!! I love to look at stuff! :D

It looks like they did :) I just got an email from one of the designers and she got her copy today!! She also said it looks great. I can hardly wait, as I haven't seen it yet myself and am anxiously (and nervously) waiting. If anyone else gets it I'd love a review.

I just ordered a copy plus some 99 cent items from the clearance section of the site. There's only 4 copies left at this point, so several have sold today! :)

down to two! Almost a sellout already!
