Default question

Does the stampin up demo kit count towards your party credit if you are the hostess? I had a party this weekend and Im thinking about signing on to be a demo.

No, I don't think it does, but check with your potential upline to be sure.

It doesn't. According to the demo manual only sales pf catalog merchandise count toward sales totals, and the starter kit is not listed in any SU! catalog.

Boy I miss that edit button -- didn't see the typo.

Since the starter kit doesn't count toward a demonstrator's sales, that's why it can't be considered as part of the workshop totals. Only "commissionable sales" do.

starter kit doesn't count towards ANY sales: NOT the hostesses (if you sign up at a party), NOT your new uplines, NOT yours.....NADA.
sorry!:(

Yup! Instead of offering demos commission or hostess credit toward this purchase, they chose to heavily discount the kit for the new demonstrator. As a demonstrator and upline, I am sad that the hostess doesn't get credit, but I am thrilled that the new demonstrator got such an awesome deal on their stamps.

If someone orders the starter kit at someone else's workshop, I will oftentimes give the hostess a stamp set out of my incentive stash to make up for them missing out on the hostess benefits, and to say thank you for introducing me to the newest member of my team!

Don't let that it doesnt count toward your hostess benifits stop you...Being a demonstrator is great I Love it. And as Duffgirl stated it is offered at a very reduced price when you think of everything that is in it. Let us know what you finally deside and congrats when you do ;)

I totally agree! It is a GREAT deal, and i wish all the time I could buy another one at that discount, LOL! It is a shame that it doesn't count towards any sales, but I guess we can't have it all.......I'd rather my new recruits get that fabulous deal!
Best of luck....if you decide to do it, I hope you love it as much as I do!!!
