Can I brag about my kid please!
I am so excited and happy for my daughter, I just have to share! Her photo was chosen as the cover photo for the announcement of this year's Scholastic Art and Writing Award winners. Her photo won a National Gold Medal last year, so when her work was chosen for the cover photo for this year, we were completely blown away. Oh my gosh! That is so exciting. I am so excited for her. What an honor.
I won a Scholastic award many years ago. I mean many years ago, lol. I remember that moment like yesterday. One of the best moments of my life. I know how excited she is right now. I won mine for writing.
I hope in her future graphic endeavors she wins many, many more prestigious awards.
