Hurricane Helpers Needed
HI everyone! My name is Jane Newell, and I am headed off to Jacksonville, FL at 10 am tomorrow for 60 days to help with the hurricane claims. State Farm has HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of adjusters that are in the SE states to help with the folks who have experienced damages to their homes.
Today, we got an e-mail from our corporate offices that they are going to match 100%- did you get that! 100% of whatever we donate to the American Red Cross for relief efforts to those who have experienced one of the most horrible things you can have happen through the end of October. I would love it if we all came together as demonstrators and stampers and either sent a donation (by check please) or made cards and sent them to me, with envelopes, that I could sell to those who are also down helping, and would donate that money to the Red Cross and have State Farm match it! WHAT AN AWESOME OPPORTUNITY!
You can send your donations to me at my home address by October 18th, and I'll have my husband send them to me at the address I'm at in FL so I can get them in. I don't know yet where I'll be stationed, but I'll send an update so everyone knows.
We have three children, Taylor, Alexandra and Zachary, so will you please keep them and my husband in your prayers? I will be away for Taylor's golden birthday on November 14th, so if you feel compelled, I would LOVE it if you would send her cards- she has cried so much about this, I can hardly stand it... :(
