We had some downtime this morning to install the first phase of a server upgrade. The site's back now as of about 8:15 AM Pacific Time, but we got issues!
Our news system isn't working, and I'm noticing some other strange stuff. We'll get everything back and working as soon as possible.
Well Daven, my DH thanks you. I actually cleaned the house today, and started dinner, what else could I do??

Oh for shame! No unnecessary downtime is allowed! You don't realize how much you come to depend on SCS as a life force until it's not there anymore.....oh I had serious issues during the downtime....
Husband expected me to umm...talk....to HIM! What kind of nonsense is that?

But, Daven, I'm just so glad that you got it up for us! And for always looking to improve what is already so wonderful! You really know how to please so many women! You ROCK!!!!!
Daven, can I just say that (although I missed the whole down time; I haven't been on SCS for at least a day - MY laptop is down!), you are the BEST! You take care of this place so well. At times like these, don't think of a bunch of red-faced women screaming at you through their monitors; think of us as very THANKFUL every day for you and the Team for doing what you do to keep this going. We are very grateful for you all!
Has any thought been given to setting up a status page? in case things do go down?
A page at Status.splitcoaststampers.com that is hosted somewhere else, that you can update to tell us if the site is down and what the eta is?

I am so glad I didn't miss anything. Went to the beach (boardwalk run - what a treat) with DH and youngest. It was fun - and I didn't worry that maybe I got kicked out. That's always my first thought, too, Lisa.

I had to go out of town for the day and needed my fix before I left this morning. I couldn't get on. What a long hard day I had. I am feeling better now that all is up and running.
You weren't just testing the power you have over us where you? You are in total control. What would our lives be without SCS? I shudder to think.... :oops:

Yep, me too, Daven. My DH thanks you. The windows are washed. Toilets are cleaned. Laundry done. Cookies baked. Nice meal going to be ready waiting for him when he gets home! Oh and. . . I actually stamped too!
