Yup...the shipping is a flat $20 (they ship so quickly you really don't need to upgrade!) and then there is the dreaded "tax". Just an FYI, you include an extra sheet of paper with your application and can call it anything really, New Recruit Special would work...and then write out your choices below it, for which ever add-on kit you choose.

And for those who live in States that don't have to pay tax.
Then it's just the cost of the Starter kit and the Shipping.
I have heard that Tennessee has one of the largest amount of internet buyers in the U.S.
They believe it is due to some internet stores not charging TN tax
AND the fact our 9.25% is so high

Let us know what you think of The Angel Company products.
I was just in Minnesota visiting my mother-in-law and sister-in-law in Cottage Grove, MN . I went to Pretty in Ink in Blaine. What a fabulous store! I wish I could have taken one of the classes. Especially Stampscapes. But a class wasn't scheduled during our 5 day visit
ny is 9.25% too, we moved to PA almost two years ago, we don't want to go back because taxes are way to high..
When we lived in Montgomery, AL our sales tax was 10% - I am not kidding! Isn't that INSANE?!!
Massachusetts was the best - 5% and no tax at all on food and clothing (under $200 per item, if it cost more than that it was considered a luxury rather than a necessity and then it was taxed at 5%). I was shocked when I learned that other states taxed food and clothing. the first cashier laughed at e when I said "but food and clothing are necessities...". I think MA made up for it in real estate taxes - I remember my parents complaining they were high...
I know that if I ever bail on SU, TAC is there ;^)* Too bad you can't do both, eh? (grin) I know I would LOVE to do that! Hehehe...
an offer like this makes it really, really tempting, though! (not to do both -- that's illegal!) But to try becoming a TAC demo... I have some of their stamps and supplies, and I love what they offer!

 We know what you mean Julie!! There are alot of mom/daughter or sister teams that sell the two respectively and can enjoy being each other's best customer! It definately is a good deal...the best they've offered, in fact!
I purchased my catty about a week ago, still waiting for it!!
i'm REALLY thinking about signing up as a demo..
I just need that kick.. thats alot of money.. (but well worth it)
It took me a year to talk myself into buying a sizzix and a cricut. sad thing is now i'm addicted and can't stop buying things to go with them..
It is alot to plunk down but the kit alone is well worth the price and now being able to choose one of these 3 add ons, yikes! It's the best time ever!
Sorry to hear you are still waiting on your catalog...hope you get it soon! I know the shipping from TAC itself is super fast.
