Hi Gang,
I could not believe it when I saw it. The Cricut was on clearance at my local JoAnn's today. The price was $149.97. Plus... you could get another 10% off that price. I almost got it, but my DH said I did not need another cutting tool since I just go the Cuttlebug. It's still $184.00 at Walmart. Oh it's the smaller one by the way and it came with 2 cartridges. Sounded like a great deal to me.
There was some discussion about this ad- seems like you had to pay $49.95 in 3-4 easy monthly payments.
My mom actually was going to order this one for me, the when she called it was like 3 or 4 monthly payments of 49.95. so of course she was like no thanks. LOL.
That really wasn't a bad deal for the cricut, it came up to 250.00 which with all the stuff you got was just about retail and 100.00 for the machine, the rest was for the extras. I was in Walmart this morning and it was 189.95, so you can see the infomercial wasn't all that bad a deal.

Well I received one on Christmas from my hubby and I was really thrilled.
I love it and would like to get it out more if time would allow. He got it at ACMoore and now I have 3 cartridges. If cartridges weren't So expensive I would have more and make more cards but you can't have a million dollars and wish for more either...haha.
Did you get one yet? You'll love it.
No, I decided not to get one right now. Just as soon as I would get one something else will come out. It seems to never end. I have got to start using some of the things I already have. I think I have enough to open up a store right now. But, don't we all. Smile...
I love my Cricut. I just made the cutest cow for a card for my nephew who is a farm boy, so cute. I bought the Expression on ebay just a couple of days ago. The Cricut is so easy to use, I love it. I sold my Wishblade and got this and haven't looked back. Waiting now for the Accent Essentials, Cricut Design Studio, Indie Art, Home Essentials and 4 paper pads to come. If you shop around, you can find some great deals on cartridges. And the best thing is that it cuts SU cardstock perfectly. The cricut is an electronic cutting machine and uses cartridges. The cuttlebug is a manual cutting machine and requires the purchase of dies. The thing about the Cricut cartridges is that there are many, many items to cut on each cartridge.
