There is a group called Paper Wings Online for former TAC Angels but the SCS Forum won't allow me to post the URL! Don't understand this rule ... why is that?
Just type the "www", remove the paces from the title, and put the "com" at the end.
The reason you can't post the URL here on SCS. Is because you don't have enough Post. You'll need to post more before you can add links.
I can't remember how many post you'll need in order to do this.

I am so sorry for all of you - sending hugs to everyone involved. It's sad to see another company close. There are so many creative TAC stampers out there and I hope you will all continue to share your talents with us. Hugs to all angels and angel lovers!
This is a good answer. I was thinking about people being able to work for brick and mortar stores instead. While those go out of business too, they don't require a financial investment. But then a lot of demos live in rural or semi-rural areas without good acess to these stores. Wanting to do what you love to do may not be as easy as I (who live in a big city) thought.
I am one of thoses Angel's (guess I should add (ex) now), that live in a rural-rural places. It was nice to have somewhere to buy quality stamps from and then delivered right to your door. I am located so rural that it's 3 hours in any direction to the closest stop light!! I am missing the angel company. But, I don't plan on signing up with any one else. I will keep every last one of my TAC stamps, this doesn't change the value of them to me. I'll just use them all over again in different creative ways. I have started buying some Magnolia stamps and Mabelle digi stamps too!
RIP- TAC

I am holding my TAC babies close to my heart as well. I was so sad and shocked...and I was just a customer! I can only imagine how all of you felt!
I too love the Angel stamps. I will never part with any of the stamps that I have collected. I am really going to miss them. Their was so much I wanted to buy from the new catalog. I have Magnolia stamps too - I really like them alot. I too haven't decided if I should sell from another company. Angel 4353
angel #3974 here. Yes my stamps will not be sold either. I loved the quality. I have not found another that compares. I noticed also that there are not very many stamps from TAC that are being offered for sale on Ebazy either. bummer. I still want some of them.

wow I just heard they closed their doors. I am not surprised at all. I used to be a demo with them, but I found their stamps rather boring. Now what am I going to do with all their stamp i have?
Um, use them...just because they went out of business doesn't mean their stamps are bad....

FWIW though, I wasn't surprised either....
I will say that this last catty was really nice. Better than when I was demo for them. And I agree, just cause they are out of business doesn't mean that the stamps suddenly stop stamping!
Did anyone (customer or demonstrator) know ahead of time that TAC was closing? I wish my demonstrator had done a "last call" for orders... I wonder what TAC is doing with their unsold merchandise?

Demonstrators were not told in advance of the closing so there was no opportunity to do a "last call" for orders. It was a big surprise to us too!
Just my thought. But if the owner knew they were in trouble. Then they should have never released the Catalog in July.
The New catalog had only been out since July 1st. And then they closed their doors on August 23. (Due to some outbreak of rumors) I know they want to close at the end of the month.
I really Love this New catalog. It was the best one in so many years. Great designers.
I love all the vintage and lace Stamps.
And the fact the they carried Memento Inks, Markers and so on.
I had a list of stuff I was going to buy. But it's not going to happen now.

you and me both! I managed to get everything but one set on my BST list, but I had a bunch of stuff that I didn't list on there because I can only afford so much at once. The former angels have been wonderful helping me find the missing sets I've been looking for. Still need Emma's Dog, but am pleased with what I managed to find.

I don't think Mischelle wanted to give up. If you've ever owned a company, you know that once you even appear to be in trouble, nobody will do business with you. If you are doing everything you can to continue and keep the company together, you have to work to the last day just like you did all the other days. So I completely understand why TAC stayed on schedule. It was their only chance to try to keep the company going. As a former business owner, I can tell you that if you start publicly closing a company too soon, it can make your losses tons worse. When we started closing our tool business, people and companies that owed us money just disappeared or avoided us and once we were closed, they justified their refusing to pay the bills with the phrase, "You're closed, so what's the big deal if I don't pay you." Yes, we tried to go after the money we were owed, but it costs more to collect than what you'll get.

Alright, so I am a little slow getting in on this discussion, but this does not surprise me at all. I'm actually more surprised that it didn't happen a lot sooner.

You are exactly right about trying to collect money due for bills once you have closed your doors. Many years ago I worked for an insurance company that was taken over by the state & we had to continue paying claims out, but premiums ceased coming in... you do the math on that one. I'm sure as far as the catalogs, those were probably already obligated with the printers months before and had to go out and be paid for. I agree as far as the sets in them were awesome. I would love to know what is left in their inventory too... I still have a wish list! I just wish I lived where I could go to a "warehouse" or wherever their stuff is! I'm going to miss them tremendously. ... an Angel to the end.
Did you all see that Mabelle RO has released some of her designs from the last TAC catalog in rubber stamp form today???? They are in her Whimsy and Stars Etsy store and they are adorable!!! Yay!!!!

I did see this! She was one of my favorite designers from TAC, so it was welcome news!
ALSO...if you fell in love with the darling Brandy and Emma dog stamps, and little girl stamps, they will be coming out October 20th by Unity stamp company.
You can read about them on Phyllis Harris Blog (the stamp designer) Here's a card I created using one of these cuties.

Thanks Karen! I just added myself as a follower to her blog. Those are DARLING!
You are welcome.
A lot of people had these stamp sets on their wish lists, but didn't get them before TAC closed.
SO...
Oct 20th check the Unity Stamp Company site!

I just read this .... how sad for everyone involved! TAC was my first adventure with cling mount stamps (back in 'the day' when I was still an SU demo) and I still really enjoy my TAC stamps. They were also my source for Palette inks - which I really really really love.
well we have been moving and my stuff was in storage but i have tried to contact the company for two months...and our computer was stole which made it hard for me to access internet..we live in rural area too and i dont have internet on my cell phone. i did not get word from my upline or TAC not even an email? i have joined last november. and i had to come to SCS to find out this news...so this stinks! loved their stuff but would have liked an email from them. i didnt ck their website very often as i have not been on internet sites much at all the past few months just to ck email and fb a couple times a week. thank goodness for SCS or i would still be trying to contact them.

I guess they posted something a few days before they closed. I had company and hadn't gone on line. My last two paychecks bounced. I feel they should of given us heads up months ago - but they probably couldn't.
I keep having my customers ask if there is any way they can get more angel products. I loved their stuff.
