**CATIE LEWIS**SCS Cookbook....is there a delay in shipping?
 

I was wondering if there is a delay in shipping and if my check has been received? My check was sent September 29. The check cleared the bank on October 7th. I posted in the original forum, but figured it might get attention if a new post is started. I haven't heard or seen any posts regarding the cookbooks lately.

Please let me know ASAP if there is a problem.

I have emailed Catie reguarding my SCS cookbook with no response as of today. I sent my check approx 8-27-05 and still haven't received it.
I did get an email from Catie in Sept stating that her mom had a stroke and she was mailing it out, but so far haven't received one. I'm also axious to get mine.

Thanks for posting, looks like I am not alone then. Hopefully, we will hear something one way or another.

The good news is Catie is about as trustworthy a girl as you can get.... no fears, I'm sure she's taking care of things! :)

Thanks for reassuring me, since I am not real familiar with anyone on SCS I was a little leary on ordering the cookbook and just sending a check to someone's home address had me a little worried...but, I love cookbooks and wanted to help out SCS a little. I just "worry" about being "taken" and as Emily said "take the money and go to Mexico!" ;)

I'll call Catie. I know she just got back into town, and am sure she'll get stuff out ASAP. :D

I am sure she is on it! Her son downloaded something with a virus in it to her computer so she is trying to fix it!!! She has the cookbooks for you!!

LOL Heck if she went to Mexico on $18..then I want a ticket for that price too. Seriously, I'm sure we will get our cookbooks as soon as she settles in from being gone.

So sorry to bother (again), but has anyone heard from Catie Lewis? I know her mother had a stroke. I was just checking if anyone has got in contact with her or if someone else has taken over the cookbook orders because of her mother's condition?

Hate to be a nag about this, but I'd also like to know when or if we will recieve the cookbooks that we have paid for. We'd really really would like to have them.
If anyone has Catie's phone #, please call her and ask her to mail them out.
If she doesn't have our addresses, please send pm's and we will let you know what our addresses are.
ANY help at all would be appreciated.

ditto...Daven or anyone else! Any ideas on how to help?! I understand completely that family comes first, but then someone should have been helpful and taken over the task of sending out the cookbooks for Catie while she took care of her mother, worked double shifts, and had computer problems. If a "customer" pays for something, they should receive it OR at least have some kind of contact if there is any problem.

Hello all. I am working on getting the cookbooks out that have been ordered in the past month. I have a pile that will go out TODAY.
