I'm working on Charisma's goodie box and here is the card announcing her queendom. It's kind of hard (for me) to read the words on the scan so here's what it says:
On this day, the 3rd of October
In the year Two Thousand four,
I hereby declare
Charisma Boertje
To be
Queen of SCS
And as such she is entitled to
All the glory and power of said position
for the full duration of her reign.
Along with this declaration,
Is presented to her
A crown of the finest gold plastic,
A spew guard of semi-clear vinyl
A royal treasury of chocolate,
and various other goodies
for her creative amusement.
must I keep repeating myself?! Only a few spew guards have been sent so far. It's just possible you might still get one - if you're very, very nice to me! Oh wait, you already were!
*I* got a hand-stamped VENT so maybe I have no reason to complain!!!
Janine just curious if you actually replace one of the vents in you house with this! I saw it in you gallery, and i think it would be a great addition to you stamping room!!
Ah, I wish I could use the stamped vent as an actual vent, but it does not fit any of the vents in my house! Just as well. This way, I never have to clean disgusting dust off of it. Blech!

I am relatively new to SCS and am just addicted! I cannot keep up on these posts and frankly most of you people are lucky that I don't know where you live or live near you because I would be stalking you. I am just in awe of the talent and shinanigans that goes on here. You all act as if you have been friends forever! I am quite jealous.
ANYWAY...reason for my post...what is a spew guard?

A spew guard, I am guessing, is a plastic cover for your keyboard....to prevent those spews (when you're reading something here on SCS that makes you spit your drink all over) from attacking your keyboard....and most of those posts *should* have "spew alert" in the title...

As the inventor of the official SCS spew guard i must add............QC is getting a special scented one from Skunky!!! LOL!!!! I got a PM yesterday asking if I thought you’d like black or red! I don’t think I want to be there when you open yours.
Oh…....I am guessing like all my Idea’s, Pam’s are WAY better than mine! She lines up the letters and every thing! I am a messy stamper (ask Lana) and I can’t spell to save my life, right Pam!
Oh man, I already sent her a RAK. Oh well. I think it will take 4 or 5 days anyway, but there's not much I can do about it now, short of breaking into the PO and rifling through millions of pieces of mail.....no, no I can't do it!
I made it to Kinko's in time for today's Fedex pickup so charisma may get her box tomorrow - Wednesday for sure - well, depending on any volcanic eruptions, of course.

Oh, my failure to buy the proper sized vent! Ah well, that answers my next question. I was cleaning my stamp room today and found the little baggie with the vent screws in it. I was wondering if I should have sent them to you, but I guess not huh??

thanks everybody - now, that's enough! Part of the reason I abdicated was I'm not comfortable being a center of attention, so please stop. Besides, you don't have time to be posting things on the computer since you're supposed to be stamping RAKs for the new queen. I already sent mine so I can play on the computer.
