Hi all! Jen asked me to help out and host for her tonight, so here goes! Be kind, it's my first time!
Your challenge is to make a set of 3 cards using the same materials for each, but different layouts!!! Here are your limitations:
Stamps ~ any, but must be the same for each card.
Cardstock and Ink ~ any, but must be the same for each card.
Techniques ~ any, but must be... ok, do you see the pattern here??
Embellishments ~ you must use hardware (since we were deprived last week, hehe!) and ribbon only, but must, yep, you guessed it, be the same for each card.
And let me apologize in advance for not having samples ready, but will work on it ASAP!!! Also, if anyone knows how to do that LSC170 link thingy, please tell me how so I can set it up!!! Oh, geesh, no wonder why I don't host, huh??? Ok, hope you like it and thanks for asking me, Jen!!!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Please remember to put LSC170 in the keyword box when you upload. Some people go right to the gallery and search with the keyword to see our cards.

yeahhhh Great challenge...really 3 cards...you are workin us to the bone woman!
wellllll, with summer coming, i though people would be going to a lot of parties, weddings, showers and such, that they'd need more cards on hand! now get to work!!! and a dear friend {stacy} helped me out!
YEAH! I finally stayed up long enough to play. As far as the hardware... This is great!! It gives me the opportunity to get rid of all of that Hodgepodge hardware that I have been hoarding.
Great challenge! I love making trios of cards!! I need to stalk up on my Father's Day cards, so this is PERFECT! I will sleep on it and get to it tomorrow afternoon.
Fun, Fun, Fun! Thanks for a great challenge Angela and I think you did a great job posting the challenge. Thanks so much for filling in! I'll play a little later!
Hahaha - what a hoot!!!! Great minds think alike. I did a similar challenge this week for the Demo's. I just love this idea of making quick, easy cards using the same supplies!!!! Thanks for stepping in this week Angela. I'm off to make some cards!!!!
I am cleaning up from a baby shower I hosted tonight...I will be making some more TYs for the new mommy...and this is the perfect challenge for that! I will think on this while I clean the chocolate and caramel fountains...thanks for filling in Angel!

Wish I could stay home from work and play tomorrow as I could never finish 3 cards before work. Happy stamping everyone and thanks for hosting, Angel!

This sounds good.
I just couldn't manage the 3 challenges on 1 card on Monday, but this I can get my head around. I think...I hope.
Now to do some serious planning.
Actually, I've arranged a few swaps like this over here - everyone who signs up makes a card and then sends exactly the same supplies to 2 other people. It's amazing to see how other people make totally different cards, very rarely do they look remotely similar unless the original supplies are very limited in how they can be used.
Thanks, Angela.
Quick question - do the cards all have to be the same size and shape? I was thinking of doing a square, a tall and a normal sized one. As long as I use the same colors would this be ok?
Here's mine. Glad I got up at 4 AM since we had to make 3 cards for this challenge. A greater challenge on my busy schedule today too, but hey, that's what makes this fun----how much stamping can be crammed into an already busy schedule???? LSC170_lazylizard by lazylizard at Splitcoaststampers

Isn't it nice that I'm off from work today. I'll have to do some thinking about this one, but it sounds like great fun. I just got my silver HPH and haven't taken one thing out of the box. It is time!
ETA: I wound up not using the silver HPH after all!
