I love my 8 year old DD with all my heart. She's the best thing that's every happened to me. But boy-oh-boy, she occasionally just sends me over the top.
She's usually very careful when using any of my stampin' supplies. She has her own cardstock and several SU sets of her own (mostly horses). She asked me over the weekend if she could go down to my studio and do some stamping. I was making dinner and told her as long as she cleans up after herself, no problem. She was copying a project that my stamp club will be making next week, which involved using my 1 1/4" square punch. Well, I go to use it today and guess what? There's a big chunck of plastic broke off of the side and it no longer works! GRRRRR! I don't care that it's broke, I just wish she would tell me. Thank goodness I went to use it before my club date!
Ok...thanks for letting me vent! Better here than at my DD! Now back to your regularly scheduled programming!
HEY LADY!!! Do I have to come over to your house and knock you around a little? Really, I'll do it...of course the baby needs to wake up and the toddlers have to finish up in the play house. Then it will be lunch time and then nap time and then I have to do lunch dishes and make the meatballs for dinner and then.....
Well, I'll do it if I really need to. Just don't know when!
It only kinds works. I'm gonna see if DH can do something to fix it. IF not...I'll be calling you Lana to borrow one for next Tuesday!
Yup...that's my picture next to Shelli (one of them). I need to find a picture that doesn't end up so blurry when I resize it. After having my digital camera for over 9 months, I'm finally figuring out how to work the darned thing! Never claimed to be quick on the uptake!

Yeah...well...Shelli and I are so secure in our friendship that we don't have to be constantly telling each other how we feel. I know she loves me. How could she not? I'm just so darned loveable!!! Anyway, we consider our relationship to be more than just friends. We're almost like sisters. Check out the picture of us playing hide and seek together. Oh...all the fond memories we have together!
By the way, she called me last night...was concerned about an order I placed on the 30th. Offered to have it shipped immediately instead of making me wait. I told her I appreciated the thought, but then someone like Lana would get bumped out of line and be bellyaching about it. I just couldn't be the cause of something like that! Shelli has enough to deal with in a day.
