Smile Upload response-"Image (8) is not yet approved"

I have been a SCS member for quite awhile, but not brave enough to try learning to upload cards efficiently. This week I decided to give this my best shot and upload several cards. Some went to my gallery only with a response of "SCS cannot recoginize the file". After reading Jen Balcer's article on uploading, I created a new file and scanned cards to the new file with .jpeg at the end. I then got the response of "image ( not ready for approval yet" .:( what does this mean and What am I doing wrong? I really don't think uploading cards is this complicated once you learn how. Please help me if you can. Thanks a bunch. I prefer private message responses for right now or online answers. A good thing is that I learned how to do my first real thread in this process! I did notice in her article she said to use .jpg so I think I might try changing one to this and see if it goes. Thanks again. Deb

Default .jpg didn't help

Me again. I just uploaded my mom's mother's day card with .jpg (instead of .jpeg) and still got "Image ( not yet supported". Can someone please help me figure this out? Thanks, Deb

What was the file before you changed it to .jpeg? Was it already a .jpeg or was it something else?

Actually, I have uploaded a few this week with no problems at all but today I have uploaded 2 and gotten that same message (waiting for approval). What is that? Is this new? Did I do something wrong?

Thanks for responding to my thread for help! (I have been out of town this weekend.) Both files have been .jpg files. My husband and I have gone over and over what could be wrong. we think the file size may be a problem and he helped me learn how to scan smaller files. I still got the exact same response when I tried to upload a smaller size file. I sure will be happy when I get this figured out. He sent a question to the administrators (under contact us) to see if we can get help. It might come to you--who knows. Do you know what the term "image" specifically refers to? Thanks again, Debbie

If you're not a fan club member then your uploads go into an approval queue and a moderator checks them and approves them. This helps keep the site the quality stamping and paper crafting site that it is. Sunday is the moderators (there's a bunch of us both in the gallery and forums) day off so your uploads sit in the queue till late Sunday night/early Monday morning when the moderators clear it out.

You're welcome. I am always happy to help when I can.

"Image" would refer to your upload file.
