Default Michael's 12 x 12 paper storage find and more

Went to Michael's today and found 12 x 12 black stacking paper trays similar to the type you would use in an office. Best part is it was 2 in a package for $4.99. Paper slides in nice and easy.

Also, the clerk that waited on me told me that if you were looking for something in the store and couldn't find it, but found it on their website (which according to her has everything they carry), you could place an order on their website and tell them it was unavailable in your local store and they don't charge you shipping plus you can apply your coupon to the purchase, too. The "no shipping charge" only applies if it is unavailable at your local Michael's.

Ok... maybe I'm challenged here... but I couldn't find anything to buy??? I logged in... what am I missing. I'm a lazy shopper with instant gratification needs... I often go to a website to look at selection and/or prices then just go to the store to get it.

Website Weirdness. Same thing happened to me. I can find lots of pictures of products, but the only area where I see the prices is in "Prints and Frames." All the other areas I only find pictures and more lists.

Red face Oops!

I went back and found that by clicking on the "Weekly Ad" button and then choosing a store, I could get all the items that would be shown in Michael's newspaper advertisement. With those items, the prices and the "add to shopping cart" button are all available.

This reminded me of a time I tried to buy something online @ Michaels; and couldn't do it.

I just checked and their website says, "Not all merchandise available in our stores is available for sale on-line. You can shop online for art & framed prints and gift cards."

Here's the link to one of several pages I found this info on:
http://www.michaels.com/art/online/static?page=contact

Thanks, GarnetJ, it's nice to know you can buy some things, other than art & framed prints and gift cards.
But we didn't get an ad this week

Hmmm, sounds like possibly the clerk neglected to tell me that this was for items in the sale flyer that weren't available in the store. Either that or she was misinformed herself. Next time I'm in the store I'll ask for more specific information, since they are the ones that told me that.

Sorry to pass on misinformation.
