i just placed an order with hmstamps. when i saw penny black had clear stamp sets i jumped on it, cause this way i get more for less money. the stamps are smaller, but i still get cute kitty and hedgie stamps. i have 4 wood mounted stamps, but they cost me about 45$. yikes. 2 clear sets just cost me about 25$ thats 23 stamps. i cant wait to get my order!

I've been looking at those. I don't own any Penny Black, but I've fallen in love with the hedgies & the mice. I've been seriously thinking about ordering Bubbly, Critter Party, Critter Christmas & ? (I know there is a 4th one, but I can't remember the name of it). I've not used clear stamps before though, so I'm a bit hesitant.

hmstamps rock! I tried to order the "Long stem cuties" from a website, they were out of stock, so then I remembered hmstamps. Ordered it from them, got it a couple of days later. Minumum shipping! The other site wanted $11.40 HM charged $9.00 + 2.50 shipping. Love them.

I just received my first clear set from Eclectic Paperie ~ love it!! I love all PB stamps & I usually get them from ATRS. I *always* wait for a sale though ~~ they can have good prices, depending on the sale. Sign up for their e-mail so you are notified about the sales (or just keep an eye on the Announcements forum ~ someone will usually post about it).
That said, I have been eyeing HM Stamps & trying to compare prices a bit. If you can't wait for a sale, then HM Stamps is the way to go!! I've always heard good things about him!!
Another vote for Dick at HM Stamps he has really great prices and fast service. I usually get my stamps within a week from placing my order and that's from Ohio to Hawaii.

While I've been stamping for many years, I'm new in trying clear stamps. I bought the set Bubbly and am very happy with it. Nice quality, thick stamps. I'm really liking these stamps.
I saw an add here on SCS for Stamp Desires. I haven't ordered from there but was thinking about it someday. They have some really good deals on lots of stamps, they do have the Penny Black one also. If you're from the US the shipping is free if you spend over $30.00 . Some stamps are like 20% off always.

<----------notice where i am? ya, i was very happy, it took exactly 5 business days. i thought for sure i would have to wait till next week for it to get here since its a long weekend, but now i can play with my new stamps!!!
