So sorry this is up late! Dh and I spent hours on the phone/online with HP dickering about how their issue is their fault (faulty wireless card) and they *will* pay for it since they recalled them. arg! Anyway, I'm on the desktop now and all my photo stuff is on the laptop. So no pic from me today! But it's a good combo, I didn't find it too difficult - even with the lovely lilac!
Please put CC165in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
As always, I am open to suggestions for future color challenges! Please pm me if you have one. Including a sample is always appreciated! I will probably not respond, as I get several, but I save them for future reference!

LOL.. I just scrolled down the whole protest thread for Lovely Lilac to see if you had put in yout $0.02 and then found that it DID make the color challenge... I will have to try this one for all those purple people out there.

Yeah!! Emily, so glad you got your ocmputer stuff taken care of--missed getting my early morning fix from SCS!! LOL!! Now it is time to go play!! Thanks for the challenge--I like the combo!!!
So sorry to hear you've had PC issues Emily - hope you get HP to sort it out soon!!!! And great to see Lovely Lilac made an appearance - and Certainly Celery!!!! You have to be happy with that as I know it is one of your faves!!!!!
Well, I'm off to bed now, so will have to play tomorrow sometime!!!!!
Thanks Emily. Umm...I was gonna keep getting my Father's Day cards done...but I think this combo *might* not go well with that plan. ;)
I'll take a break from the FD cards for today I guess. Hehehe...
On the one hand, I really want to stay up and do this Lovely Lilac color challenge.
On the other, it's 11pm here. I think it's bedtime. So I shall get up tomorrow morning and ooh and ahh over everyone else's Lovely Lilac creations and then make my own!
In the immortal words of Yakko Warner, mwah! Good night everybody!
For Bambie64, if you don't have Lovely Lilac, you can print it on Whisper White. Brenda Quintana (Obee) put together a wonderful list of RGB color values to use on the computer to approximate the SU! colors. It's great for coordinating colors on computer-generated scripts. Lovely Lilac is R-129, G-124, B-188. If I had sent her a thank-you note (I should have!) every time I used her chart--she'd be knee deep in them.
I got to take a day off today. I already cleaned the house, made coffee and started the only load of laundry that I am going to do today. I guess I will finally get to play. Lovely Lilac - HUM!! I think I still I have most of the 'one and only' pack that I ever bought of that color. THINK! THINK! THINK!
As luck would have it I had just made a card similar to this. Just had to add the pretty in pink. Thanks for an awesome challenge. I love it. The nudge was wonderful from all of you. I got a big kick out of it.

I did a search and found an old thread with RGB values, but it wasn't the one from Obee.
