Red face How do I start my own blog?
Does anyone out there have any pointers for starting a blog? I'm moving to VA next month & want to keep my family & friends updated. Also, I've been thinking of starting a blog anyway! Are there websites I can go to? I am absolutely clueless! Thanks so much!

I use typepad.com. The basic service is 4.95 a month and it is easy, easy to use. blogspot is free, but I don't have any experience with them. I started my blog to keep my husband's family updated (they live all over the country), but now both of our families are addicted to it. I get hate mail when it hasn't been updated in a few days.

I use blogspot. It's free and has been rather easy to set up. Keep posting and many will tell you what they like/don't prefer about each one.

Ok, I just started it!

It doesn't really have anything in it yet! I decided to do a seperate craft blog later! I'll have to upload pics later! Busy preparing for the move! By the way the splitcoastbloggers website is sooo greatt! Now I need to come up with a cool name for my craft blog! Thanks everyone!
