Okay, so I know I want a great snowflake set (LOVE snowflakes, as does DD) but I just cannot make up my mind between these two. I have looked in the gallery - like all the samples, of course. Lace Snowflakes is cheaper, so obvious benefit there - and regular Snowflakes set has the "Warm winter wishes" message, so that is a benefit there. Ack - I have been having this debate with myself for weeks - help me out!! :?

I say go for Snowflakes. Yes, it is a little more expensive, but it's nice to have the Warm Winter Wishes saying. I think Lace Snowflakes is a little more formal. Snowflakes can be formal or whimsical depending on how you use it.
I had always wanted Lace Snowflakes but never bought it, and then when Snowflakes came out a few years back I bought it instead. I have never regreted the decision. Snowflakes, hands down!!
I think Snowflakes has a more versatile look -- it can be formal or casual, depending on the colors you use and whether or not you use embellishments like embossing.
Definitely Snowflakes! I agree with everyone else! And besides, if you get this set and regret it, I'll happily take it off your hands.....heh heh... =)
I have lace snowflakes and LOVE it, but I also have a TON of christmas sayings...So if you dont have any sayings, I would go with Snowflakes because it comes with one!
Don't do what I did: I had this EXACT dilemma last year. I finally decided on Snowflakes, and the Snowflake Wheel. It was a personal order, so I took the catalog to the computer and used it for the order numbers. I checked OEX for order status a day or so later, and guess what? Last year's catalog had Lace Snowflakes JUST ABOVE the Snowflake wheel, so I had ordered both sets! I had to order the wheel later and still have both sets. Funny thing, I like them both and I'm glad for the mistake now, although I was upset then. The elegance of the Lace is great, the you get a saying with the regular "Snowflake" set.
Sorry I can't help you choose!!

Lace Snowflakes reminded my s-in-law & I of her grandmother's tatting (& the snowflakes she tatted for me one year) but we still couldn't decide. S-in-law (& my niece) did finally buy Lace Snowflakes so Snowflakes is on my wish list... dilemma solved (for me). Because they are so delicate, Lacy Snowflakes can be casual or elegant - Snowflakes is more casual, I think. You can't go wrong with either.

Snowflakes was one of the first Christmas sets I bought when i started with SU...I love it. I am so sad that Blizzard wheel was discontinued as i loved them together.
Lace Snowflakes reminds me of old lady doilies like my nana had on the arms of her sofa LOL
I tend to sway my customers also on this choice..LOL...I love the greeting.

I have Lace Snowflakes, and think I have only used it once in 2 years. I have been wanting Snowflakes since I bought the other set but only ordered that one because it was cheaper. I have my Snowflakes set on the way and I can't wait! I say go for Snowflakes, they are less old gramma-ish!
I have to say that I love Snowflakes. I think the more realistic look will prove to be timeless. I also love the variation in sizes.
