Looking for instructions

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for instructions on how to color my cuttlebug cards. I want to color the raised portion of the card and I cant find instructions anywhere. I am not sure what it is called this technique. Thanks for any help you can give!!

This video tutorial by Julie, is what you probably need. It is so easy and I bought a brayer at Jo Ann's for 40 % off.

You can also rub your ink pad on the embossing folder and run your paper through (use non-permanent ink and wash your folder right away)... Here is a link to the challenge: Forums at Splitcoaststampers - you can go to the gallery to see lots of examples...

You can also use chalk and rub it over the raised parts. It looks really good on the stylized flowers embossing folder. You can use different colors for the flowers and green for the stems and leaves. There are quite a few samples in the gallery, just go in "gallery" and put cuttlebug in the search box.

You can also emboss white core cardstock and then (lightly) sand it so the raised areas become white and the rest is the cardstock color.

For coloring ON the bugged part, we have had the best luck with chalk.

I use color pencils and gamsol, they come out great, you have to have a light touch, but the prims pencils are rich in color. I have also colored with chalk.

I've used a dye ink pad to just rub lightly over the raised part.
