Hi!
I'm new to stamping. Because of health reasons :( I need to find a hobby that doesn't require moving around, and rubber stamping looked liked the answer. I've bought so many stamps (mounted & unmounted), all kinds of inks, embossing powders, how to books and anything else that looked interesting. I've bought all of this stuff over the internet because I can't get out and drive. I've surfed all over looking for tips and techniques to help me get started and inspired. Then last night I found this site and I'm really, REALLY excited!
Now I look forward to many happy moments in front of my computer learning all about how to stamp with out ever having to leave the house.

Karen, you've come to the right place if you're not able to move around. I, myself, have been known to sit for hours on SCS, moving nothing but my index finger on the mouse! Have fun...and let us know if you need any help!
Welcome to SCS ! You will love this place , plus you will learn all sorts of fun techniques here that range from easy to hard. More than any info you read in a book. You will get so much from this site. Also there are lots of other forums that aren't only about stamping. Those are wonderful. Enjoy yourself !

Thank you for the warm welcome...I am looking for something to do to keep myself sane! And Rubber stamping looks like lots of fun.
I can't get out of the house and this looked like a good place to meet people and it seems I was right! Now all I have to do is learn my way around this site and get stampin'. Thank you for your advise! .....great to meet you.

Welcome,
Stampin is a very good hobby to take your mind off things as well. I've started stampin' in the last year or so but I've been scrapbooking for about 5 years. I'm from Prince Edward Island but moved to Nova Scotia a few years ago when there were no shops around that sold scrapbooking or stamping supplies. I got a lot of products from e bay. Now there are tons of websites to get products and I love the stampin up products. I love how everything is coordinated into color catagories. When I first saw a catalogue earlier this year I wished that I was aware of stampin up when I was first getting started. It is very addictive though.
Hi Karen,
Welcome aboard the SCS train...you will surely enjoy the ride! There is so much here to learn and do..so many fun people to meet. I am sure this will keep you busy in more ways than you could ever imagine.
Welcome,
Katherine

Welcome Karen! You have come to the right place. No where else can you be so inspired, have so many friends, laugh, cry, ask for help and recieve it within seconds, learn not only about stamping and scrapbooking but also every subject manner you can think of! Hope you have a comfy place to put your feet up because you will be here for a long time!
Welcome Karen! I can't add anything more to what has been said. I can honestly tell you though, from my own experience, this place is the BEST! It has helped me through some really rough times and some very happy ones! Without it, I would be one lonely lady!
Enjoy yourself! And remember to be good to yourself!
Hello!
You will really enjoy this forum. I joined just a couple of months ago and now I feel like I have missed something if I don't log in to see what people are saying or what beautiful creations have been posted.
Enjoy!
