Default Ever been to Recollections?

wow!!!

Emily (emilymomto3boys) and I went to a TGIF crop last night at Recollections! WOW! So much fun!

$10 for 6-midnite. It included a lovely dinner from Chili's and a "surprise" which was some cute cardstock and embellishments. They also drew for door prizes and I won a Making Memories Rub on letters kit with a very cute little metal case.

Apparently the store is owned by Michael's. It has the BEST set up in the back with a cool studio set up with nice tables and rolly chairs and built in cup holders I loved it!

I can't wait to go back! We're going to do a stamp a stack night there during one of their TGIF crops to stamp for the guys in Iraq (we send them to Emily's husband in Baghdad to distribute).

LOVE it!! Dangerous place though! As you crop, you are free to roam the store and pick out embellishments and things... YIKES... ;)

I visited the Recollections near (in?) Plano when I was visiting a friend this summer. It is a very nice store. I think I liked the setup as well as or better than Archivers. I found more to buy at Recollections, anyway!!!

What is archivers like? They have them in KC and I want to try one out, it seems similar to recollections.

We had one open up in Columbia, MD in August. I love it! A great store to inspire you......and what I love the best is that they let you bring in your own cardstock and use their die cuts for FREE!!!! That's right! You can make pillow boxes, neat cards, seasonal die cuts etc.....for free!

And they are very friendly too! Plus you can sign up for their mailing list and you get a card for 10% all your purchases!

If it wasn't a conflict to SU I would get a job there!

What?!?! We can't be a demo and work there? That sucks! They don't even sell stamps...well, I guess they have a tiny rack of them.

I dont think SU! says you cant work in a craft store AND be a demo!! You cant sell yourself or the stamps in a craft store, or if you teach stamping you cant make it like a workshop in a craft store(or stamp store), but Im sure you can have a job ther! I should check it out in the manual... now, where do I look??hmmmm....

hmmmm.......well I just went and looked and can't find anything specific. But I could have sworn that we couldn't as it would be a conflict of interest. Or am I just confusing it with being a demo and then wanting to sell CM or CTMH too?

Well I just might have to get my application in!!!

I love Recollections! I work about 5 minutes from the one in Dallas! Dangerous location according to my hubby! At least it's dangerous to our bank account! LOL
