TLC164: Double Pocket Card Pocket cards are always fun to make and receive, and here is a new twist on a pocket card which is twice as much fun: a Double Pocket Card. {Maybe they are not new, but they are new to me!}
This looks like a lot of fun. I just printed out the tutorial (thanks, Judy). My new Scor-Pal is going to see some action today. I LOVE my Scor-Pal! Thanks, Beth.
Thanks, Beth and Judy for this intriging challenge card. It looks like a lot of fun and the results look amazing. Will play this afternoon, I have to go to the doctors this morning. Can't wait to see everyones cards for this one.
Thanks Beth, I always wanted to try this but was too scared. The tutorial makes it look do-able.........thanks Judy. It makes an awesome looking card. Off to choose some pretty paper..........
ladies I always try this on white cardstock first so I will have a pattern for later to refer to this card is first the tutorial was great ;) 2nd it was so easy to fold it together I love it thankyou for sharing. You are so creative I have a birthday coming up i think I will make her a double pocket card thanks~~~Bluegirl~~~
Wow! Thanks so much, Beth, for finding this fabulous card! I've not seen the double pocket either. And thanks, Judy, for the fabulous card as well as your fantastic tutorial. OH! Aaaaand all that great music on your blog, he. I had a very pleasant time listening while making my card. Loved it!
My card is somewhat simple. I can barely find my desk so the embellishments are around here somewhere. he. I used card stock and a BIT of DSP. Instead of folding my last flap foreward, I adhered my front pocket and folded my last flap BACK to create a card that opens as well as having pockets.
The little Close to Cocoa piece represents a gift card to our local Coffee Crossing (coffee shop.) Life IS good!
OMG! I did it. I sacrificed a piece of my DP that I save for scrapbooking (I use the left overs on my cards.) The double pocket card was super easy... great tutorial. Now I need to make the inserts. BBL
This looks like such a great project! I love that there is so little cutting & it's mostly folding - all out of 1 sheet of paper! I can see this with a bookstore gift card in 1 pocket and a bookmark in the other pocket. Can't wait to try it!
Thanks Beth for finding this technique. Thanks Judy for an awesome tutorial. I agree with several ladies, that I thought it was going to be a lot harder than I thought. Judy's tutorial was very easy to follow.
Looked at the tutorial and figured I had enough time to make one of these fun cards. Thanks for the great tutorial Judy.
Here is my double pocket card: BE_Lots of Thoughts by ButterflyEars at Splitcoaststampers

Beth, thanks so much for bringing this tutorial to our attention. And thanks Judy for the great tutorial. This really was easy and you get such a terrific result! Oh so fun.
I saw a great version of the double card last week, but there were no directions. I did not have time to look the directions up, but thought that I REALLY need to try one of these cards! TOO CUTE!
What a fabulous challenge, Beth. And Judy, the tutorial made it so easy!! Thank you both for helping me create something very special for a dear friend!
