Susan,
That seems like a really long time!!(12-5:30) Hmmm...my technique class the night before is scratch 'n sniff. You know what...put me down. Why not? I turned someone else down for something that day, but I get to have fun this way not teach (much) ;).
Put me down. I said I would go to the next one.

Does anyone make jewelry?
Or knows someone who does....
On Sept.23rd in Bedford, NH my SIL is hosting a Fall Festival in a 55+ community. (She works in the sales office.) I am selling stamped goodies. But, she is looking for someone who makes jewelry. You do not have to rent a table, but you should bring a table. It is from 10-4.
Like I said, it is a free event. I guess it is an opportunity to make a few $$$ without putting out extra and don't mind putting out the time. I have plenty here to make up things for a small table. My friend is selling handmade quilted table runners. So, if you make jewelry and have somethings made...she could really use support. She is looking for people who make things by hand not direct party sales. That's why I am not setting up as a demo.
Also, I think she is having a pie baking contest. I just don't know if it is just for residents. Please PM me if you think you can help. Sorry for the short notice.
Thanks!

I soooo wish I could attend. Unfortunately, I'm out of town that weekend. Please keep me in mind for future get-togethers! And I hope everyone has fun stamping together!!

Question....we don't have to use "current" sets b/c this is for our enjoyment right?
Although, I am thinking fall and cinnamon. Anyone up for some scratch 'n sniff cards? It involves the embossing gun. I guess I should ask if we have a hook up. I have more than one gun. I can bring a small table. (Bigger than a TV tray, but much smaller than a card table.) And a power strip.
Just getting a feel for what interests people and if my plans are realistic.
Thanks!
Lynn

Hi Ladies!
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it to this swap :(. I had a blast last time but I already have workshop planned for that day! Have fun and I can't wait to see pictures!!!
I was hoping I would be able to join everyone again with my mom and Lyn but unfortunately my husband has just seriously injured his eye and I am not sure where I will be that day. He has had one emergency surgery in Boston and we go back next week to meet with his surgical team to determine when his next operation will be. So I am sticking pretty close to home. I will be thinking of you all.

Sorry i haven't been keeping up with things but I have not been feeling well,
Lynn, I have never seen the Scratch an Sniff so I would really like it.
We do have an outlet available so that is not a problem. You do not need to bring a table we can move the library tables around for our use...
see you there...

I missed the last one and really wanted to go to this one, but hubby will be getting back from his business trip, and I'll have to be at the airport to pick him up. :( Missed it by that much!
OK ladies, the final count is 8, not as many as the last one but more than the first one. Please come prepared and ready for some fun.
Just in case:
Directions to the Main Library at 2 Court Street
From the South:
Take Everett Turnpike (Rte. 3) north. When you see the sign for Exit 5/Route 111, get in the right lane.
Get off at Exit 5-E, Rte. 111 East (Kinsley St.).
Take Rte. 111 East to the fourth set of lights and turn left onto Main St..
Follow Main St. north and at the third set of lights turn right onto Temple St.
Take Temple St. to the second left onto Cottage Ave. and into the City's metered parking lot.
From the North:
Take Everett Turnpike (Rte. 3) to Exit 7-E, Rte. 101-A (Amherst St.).
Take Rte. 101-A to the major intersection and turn right onto Main St.
Follow Main St. south and at the third set of lights turn left onto Temple St.
Take Temple St. to the second left onto Cottage Ave. and into the City's metered parking lot.
Also, please remember:
1. No food or drink is allowed.
2. Please bring something to protect the tables as we are in a public area of the library and we want to leave everything as we found it.
3.No business is allowed to be transacted - no cash exchanged - (per the Library guidelines this can not be a profit making function)
4. We are there to have fun - and participants are from all different levels of crafting and are there to get ideas and learn new techniques.
5. It is requested that all participants bring their own adhesive and scissors.
Correction the count is 9- not only can I not count but I can't read my own entry... sorry about that, it has been a very rough couple of weeks for me.
