Hi Fashionistas! This is my first time hosting a VSN and I am so excited! I hope you are too! Let's have some flowered fun:
When it comes to fashion, I don't feel my outfit is complete until I add my favorite floral perfume. That final, feminine accent sets the mood for my whole outfit.
The same can be said when making a card: the best part of making a card is adding all the beautiful embellishments. The final, floral feminine touches.
My challenge to you is to make a card using flowers. Layers and layers of flowers! The more, the better!
Your card may include any form of floral patterned or shaped embellishment, including:
Primas
Stamps
Rub-ons
Stickers
Brads
Felt
Crochet
Plastic
My card (sample below) has crystal, paper, felt, chipboard and patterned paper flowers. Anything goes as long as it's floral!

I thought i was gonna die...waiting for the days challenges to start. Yay! I have some catching up to do. My daughter had surgery yesterday and I was too exhausted to do anything except write down the challenge info. Off I go. Woo Hoo!

I have finger cramps from my scissors so if anyone finds a great pair I would like to know too. I think more chocolate may be the answer to my hand pain, don't you think?
Mine's done! I used rose red dp from POP, this huge prima with a rhinestone brad in the center and my blooming with happiness stamp set. Will upload later. Laundry is calling.
For those of you who have your work areas near your hubby's.....does he drive you nuts by chatting and asking questions while you try to create? and I'm not talking questions about what you're doing. Questions about budget stuff and things like that! ARGH!!!!!!
Drat! Had to take DS#2 to a bday party and organize a playdate for DS#1 - will definitely try to catch up on this challenge today, tho - I LOVE flowers!!! Thanks Suzy!

YES! I actually said "sweetie I love you - shut up!" today LOL
We both just laughed. He is sampling my chocolate and coffee and getting spazzy and talking a mile a minute lol!

Here's my card. I finally got to use my new Friendship Blooms set. I wanted to add more embellishments, but, SHEESH....this sucker is pretty busy already! Thanks for a great challenge! I really enjoyed it and will definitely make a few more of these cards after VSN!
