Samoas – chewy and rich
Tender vanilla cookies, covered with caramel on top and bottom, rolled in toasted coconut, and striped with a rich, chocolate coating
Yum! Yum! Look at ALL those YUMMY Layers of Good Stuff! Our first challenge is about LAYERS! The challenge is to do a page (or pages) with LAYERS! Use as many interesting and fun layers as possible! Think SAMOA'S and Layer....Layer....Layer!!!

Our Second Challenge ----All Abouts
All Abouts – These beautifully designed shortbread cookies have a series of Girl Scout messages on top and a rich fudge coating on the bottom
Our Second Challenge is based on the cookie "All Abouts". This Challenge is to do a page "ALL ABOUT" ??? You choose. Just like the cookie --journaling or title on the top, picts and papers on the bottom of the page.

Do-Si-Dos – peanutty excitement
Naturally good! Crisp and crunchy oatmeal cookies with creamy peanut butter filling and no artificial color or flavor.
Yum...sandwiched in the middle is the best part...the creamy peanut butter. Here's a fun sketch to use to "sandwich" one picture in the middle. Remember, this is just the starting point, feel free to use your creativity with this sketch but let's sandwich some good stuff in the middle!

Our Fourth Challenge ----Girl Scout Cookies
Girl Scout Cookies are GREAT because they bring together a group of girls for one cause. They also are enjoyed by everyone who buys (or gets them for a gift). Girl Scout Cookies are BEST when shared so our last "mini" challenge of the night is to make a scrap page (any size, 6x6, 8x8, 9x9, 8.5x11, or even 12x12), or a Card to SHARE...that's right! Create something that can be shared. Since we already enjoyed some of our GS Cookie faves, try to use something on this page or card that was used on one of your earlier pages. Use scraps, use a similar idea...be creative! If you need an address for someone to send it to, let me know....let's share the goodness!

The Girl Scout website describes these cookies as "wildly popular". I'm sure we've all heard that phrase before...especially scrappers! So let's use those items we just HAD to HAVE because they were so "wildly popular"! It might be chipboard or rub-ons, stamps or even your diecut (CRICUT) machines! I know you got'em. Circles seem pretty popular on layouts right now, add those...whatever! Be popular....use that stash or layout style that is (or was) so HOT!

Our Eighth Challenge ---Lemon Coolers
Lemon Coolers – cool burst of lemon
Bite-sized bursts of cool lemon flavor in crisp, vanilla cookies. Zesty lemon chips and a covering of powdered sugar make these “lemon wedge” cookies too cool to resist!
Our final challenge for this mini-VSBN finds us scrappin' Girl Scout Cookies -- Lemon Coolers. Just reading the description makes me think of spring...cool bursts of pretty yellow flowers, still a little chilly in the morning...but peeks of sunshine throughout the day!! Let's enjoy SPRING! Get out those bright colors and fun embellishments and show me your "celebration of Spring" pages. (This can be anything ... pictures in the park, family celebration, reunions....what makes you think of Spring...might just be layout colors?)

I agree with some of the other women- how can we think about scrapping anything when you keep bringing up GS cookies?!?! But, I will go try...
I know....Tami started it.....she sent me a BOX of THIN MINTS! I didn't get any this year. I'm watching what I eat right now so I've saved them for this weekend to CELEBRATE 7 days in a row of working out and being within my food planned intake.....

Ok, both kidlets are down...in their beds...in the SAME ROOM!!!!! First time ever. Zeke has been in a bassinet in our room, but he's really getting too big for it. I'm just afraid he'll wake Kessa up in the middle of the night when he gets up to eat. We shall see how it goes, and now I'm going to pick out some pictures and get scrapping!
well 2 is my limit so my second one is for all my SCS friends! hehehe and MAN is it GOOD! 2 graham crackers, 2 snack size hershey bars, and 2 perfectly toasted/slightly burned jumbo marhmallows...
man! talk about layers! ehehhee

DS almost put up a fight, but then decided it was better if he didn't. Didn't get any new pictures printed today, so I will look through what I have and see what I can come up with.

The night is young, LOL! You see, I'm on a "Get Healthier" kick. I'm hoping to establish better eating and exercising habits in my life. I started a week ago and I've been tracking calorie intake and I've exercised every day!
So far....so good. I've done the 7 days of exercise & so far I've been within the planned calorie intake plan. 4 cookies is 150 calories....if I eat anymore than that, I'll be over the plan .... so we'll see how strong my motivation stays.

okay decided that since it is to rain the next couple days that i needed to go ahead and reinstall the car seat and the infant carrier base in my car. so did that. now i want to work on baby pics...
DS almost put up a fight, but then decided it was better if he didn't. Didn't get any new pictures printed today, so I will look through what I have and see what I can come up with.
I am eating my PB patties though :-D
No new picts here either BUT...guess that will force me to get a couple pages I've just been putting off done. Not sure why I've not chosen to scrap them? Who can figure.....:rolleyes:

Today I took "BEFORE" Picts of me :( Planning to scrap the journey. I SURE hope I look different in my April 30 picts!! I think I will, I'm sticking with it so far.

getting my pics printed off here, have a feeling the printer is running out of ink, grrr, only thing I am strugglig with is the title on that sketch, have my pics ready, papers picked out. Just need to crop and adhere, but that darn title ....

that's really great, I won't be mean anymore, I really need to get back on my eating plan too, was doing so awesome, and feeling good, then this past week the pants were feeling snug again, so come Monday, back on Nutrisystem. Just hard to do with a little one and having to get her a good dinner, but I will figure it out, hopign to plan out the week in meals in the morning while hubby is still here

We did that in nutrition class when I was in nursing school. It was really interesting. My instructor couldn't figure out why I was as small as I am based on how I eat. My response was "good genetics"!

I have been WW best customer - I only need to lose 5kg I( think that's 11 pounds for you guys!) and it has taken me about 6 months to do it - that equates to me throwing vast amounts of money at them for way too long!!!! But, having said that, I've dropped a dress size & am feeling much better!!!! I have only got 1 kg to go & I've been very slack and eaten too many Easter eggs!!!
So, after all that rambling, what I'm trying to say is hang in there, it will get better & you'll be looking like a goddess before you know it!!!;)
