I'm sorry I'm late again. My life is crazy right now, as you can all suspect. And frankly Harry Potter came out this weekend and I can't leave those books until they are done. Suffice it to say that I do know who the half blood prince is.
Anyway, here's this week's sketch. I am the one providing the "advanced" sketches, so this one is for 6 pictures. I pulled the sketch off a layout I found in a creating keepsakes special edition, Tips and Techniques, p. 81.
Darlin' I totally understand...I know who the Half-blood Prince is too!! Finished it in one sitting! Kids had to fend for themselves for a little while. (Not too bad, one is 15yrs. She owed me, I let her read it first, which she did in one sitting as well.)
I totally can "GET" where you're coming from with the busy factor. I'm preparing for a move so things have been crazy here for me also. Tomorrow my best friend and I are going to scrap if it KILLS us for a couple of hours in the evening. (I plan on packing all things scrap and stamp related until the very end!!) I'm would like to accomplish at least one or two of the great sketches I've seen here so far. Thanks for the inspiration!! I'll post if I actually get one done!
By the way, I also know who the Half-Blood Prince is and also couldn't put the book down until I finished it. I'm glad to see there are other adult Harry Potter lovers out there!! ;) Have a great weekend everyone!!

I, too, have been very busy lately so unfortunately my stamping is what gets neglected. Two weeks ago I started a new job, just two day before my husband had surgery! He's doing fine, just can't get around as well for awhile, so I have to take on more duties around the house. At the same time I started a 6x6 scrapbook for my mom for Christmas. It is on her family history and it is a little more challenging than I had anticipated. But it is also a great way for me to learn about my ancestors.
Anyway, I did complete Challenge 14, just haven't photographed it yet to upload. Hmmm...everyone's still in bed, maybe I should go do it now....
This was my very first Scrapbook Sketch Challenge, and what a relief to have someone else help out. I didn't have enough photos of this particular event to do the sketch exactly as planned, but the basic layout was definitely inspired by the sketch. Oh, what fun it is . . . . .
This was a tough challenge for me. I am still trying to decide if I like the way these pages turned out. My daughters took the closeup photos of each other and me (decided not to use that one and I loved them.
Thanks for the challenges! I love them and am looking forward to SBSC17!
