This weeks inspiration challenge was suggested by Mothermark from a beautiful card she received from Petal Pusher (Mary). The card was inspired by a design Mary saw on Mothermarks dresser in a card photograph.
So the IC121 challenge is to make a card inspired by something in your home. It could be a pillow, hand towel, floor tile, fabric, or maybe another piece of art. Let your inspired spirit roam free and find something in your home that inspires you. If possible, include the inspiring item in your photograph with your card or if that is not possible, describe the item that inspired you.
Make sure you use the keyword: IC121 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.
How to Play ~ Find anything in your home that inspires you and create a card. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Ok, I immediately had an idea, but the inspiration piece is in my mother's house, not mine. I'm gonna do it anyway, I have a picture of it! I love these kind of open-ended challenges.
Hi Stef...just an FYI...this is my favorite challenge...I always look forward to it. I'll have to see what's in my house that might inspire me. Thanks for an interesting challenge this week!

What a cool challenge! Will have to play tomorrow.

Stef! Thanks for using my idea.....I think this will be fun. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight trying to figure out what will inspire me in the morning. Maybe I will make a card like my bed pillow! Bwahahaha!
Very cool challenge...can't wait for tomorrow morning!!

Great inspiration challenge Stef and Mothermark (YES I mailed your card!) My DH borrowed the camera for a few days (backpacking trip) so I'm left with the scanner. I'll see what I can do about the picture of the inspiration piece, but I'm definitely playing!!! whew, blabber blabber.

This was a great idea. I enjoyed this because this particular bedspread has been inspiring me to make a card like it for some time now. I might have used the color combo before on a card in my gallery, but wanted to do something in regard to the flowers this time. Here it is:

No way! How cool! A few days ago I pulled a semi-new kitchen towel out of the laundry basket thinking I need to make a card from this. It's been sitting on my stamp table since then. Guess I'll finally be making that card!
Oh, Cindy. I'm so thrilled that our cross country stamping fun turned into this week's inspiration challenge. Thanks for suggesting it. You're such a tremendous virtual friend and mentor for me
I'm going to look around the house and give this challenge a go. SCS and Stef, you're the bomb. M
This one will be easy for me...I have over 50 pictures of lighthouses in my home. Either on towels, shower curtains, tiles in the bathroom, wall paper borders, pictures, and my most loved is a Thomas Kincade Lighthouse print...
I think I know what I will be making
You won't believe what I found for inspiration in my house for this challenge.....my husband's golf bag! LOL He really wants a new set of golf clubs this year and the kids and I are giving him money for his birthday to buy a new set. So, I was looking over his old set tonight and I was inspired by his green and brown golf bag and this was the card I created for his birthday.

Loaded up my card and forgot to put the IC121 keyword in there -- rats! So I hope you find it: A Purse From New Mexico. (My brain can't function this late at night!! )
Awesome Inspiration Challenge Stephine!! So much fun - thanks!!
