Default Clear Bags.com

I read somewhere in one of the forums that as SCS members we can get free shipping from clearbags.com. Can someone reroute me to this thread? I really would like to purchase these bags but don't want to pay the unreasonable shipping costs associated with the purchase.

Thanks,

I've been ordering from them for three of four years and I've never seen anything about free shipping.

I would just like the thin plastic bags to protect your cards when you go to sell them. I am interested in A2 size. Where is the best place to get them? I looked on the clearbags.com site, but it looks like these bags hold multiple cards.

Thanks.

I just ordered clear bags from the following site:

http://www.clearenvelopesambershaw.com/

shipping was FREE - and SUPER SUPER FAST. (ordered on Friday afternoon, they were in my mailbox MONDAY!)

So far so good with this vendor, I highly recommend!

Hope that helps you all

I order from clear bags al ot and have never got a discount. Its actually funny that I was ordering from them online and one day noticed that the address on the shipping label. They are just over the hill from my house - a 10 minute drive max!! I now go to their warehouse and buy direct, no discount, just no shipping.

The sizes for standard 1/2 sheet card is #B45 - it will hold one card and envelope.

So these are intended for a single card only? I don't need to store my cards, I just need something to protect the individual cards that I am selling. Also, what size would I need for an A2 card?

Thanks! :o

I would def. check out the link I listed above and contact the seller. I emailed her with questions and she responded super fast with all the info I needed. I'm sure she would help you pick out the size you need. I think what you need is something like : 4 5/8 x 5 3/4

Yes, clear bags has wonderful service. I used clear bags size calculator and #B54 came up. Here is the description:
4 5/8" x 5 3/4" (117x146)
Crystal Clear Plastic Bags with Adhesive Strip on the Flap - Fits a single A2 or 5 1/2 bar (4 3/8 x 5 3/4) envelope and card
#B54

I use these bags to store my cards for sale at craft fairs since they hold one card and one envelope. If you have a thick card (embellishments that are raised they will be tight in the bag.

I just tried contacting clear bags via the order address and got a message saying that the message was not deliverable.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for all of your advice! I took a look at clearbags.com To order 200 of the A2 sized bags and 100 of the 1/2 sheet size bags, it was going to cost me $15 to ship these with the $5 handling fee... that is outrageous for shipping....

I'm planning to order A2 white envelopes from clearbags.com. I requested a sample, and their envies seem a bit nicer than the ones I've been buying at Staples, for about half the price! I'll order a lot of enveloples to offset the S&H fee, and orders over $40 don't have a small orders fee. Since I also use and love their clear A2 size bags, I'll add some to my order.
If you only need a smaller amount of the clear bags, I would check out the seller listed above. I have purchased from her, and had great service.

I figured out that it is actually cheaper for me to order my bags from SU at least in this case. If I actually can sell more cards then maybe I will place a larger order through them. Thanks again for all of your help!

If you want to put a card and an envelope in the same clear envelope, I would order size A2+ it is slightly larger to accomodate the envelope too.

All the proceeds from my clear envelopes sales go right into postage, adhesive and cardstock for my soldier project.

Blessings to each of you.
