No Way! I can't believe it. I borrowed Diamond Glaze from a friend. I thought on Tim Holtz website he said that Crystal Effects dries in 5 seconds and the Diamond glaze for sure did not.

Crystal Effects definitely does NOT dry in 5 seconds. The last project I made used the tiniest bit and it took over an hour to dry.
OMG, I just looked back and it was actually Glossy Accents that he uses! oh my, I need to go to bed. lol
So how does Glossy Accents compare to the others?
Glossy Accents is thicker then my Diamond Glaze. I've never noticed how long it takes to dry, but I'm sure I would have noticed if it took forever (if that makes sense).
Also, it depends on what your looking for in terms of which pad to use. If you want permanent use Staz-on, but it may stain your stamps if you don't use it's cleaner or Ultra Clean(what I use). Memories was my first black pad and I still use it for regular images with gamsol
Glossy Accents doesn't dry in 5 seconds either. Not unless it's so thin there was no point in putting it on. I've got embellishments with the fingerprints to prove it, LOL. Then I started putting a dab on a bit of scratch paper so that I could see was that dry, and then the real thing would be too .
I like it, though I also have something called Dimensional Magic which is a bit thinner so easier for bigger areas.
Cook22, can you tell me more about Dimensional Magic? Who makes it and where can you get it? I need to use it for making embellishments for gifts to those in nursing homes -- big is better!
Royal Coat Dimensional Magic by Plaid. www.plaidonline.com is the address on the bottle, but I don't see the stuff there. Maybe it's an old product, but I've seen it quite recently in a bricks and mortar store here.
Thanks. I have used that. It didn't dry very quickly. Was at the beach so that might have been a factor. Also it seemed to deflate when set. I really needed to put on another coat. I tried to put on a heavy coat so my flowers would look "plump." It sank in the middle. Two thinner coats might have produced the look I was going for -- and take care of the set-up time.

Now that is just pure genius. Why didn't I ever think of doing that?
