You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This week we are doing a rerun from January 2006... ONLY it's a modernized version. Back in 2006, background stamps were all the rage and the majority of people bought stamps in sets. Today, we use more designer paper and many people buy single stamps.
Please read everything! It's worth it! This challenge was a hit in 2006 and I think it will be a fun holiday weekend challenge this time.
Remember how long it took to collect enough stamps and colors to actually feel like you could make something unique over and over? Let's help our new stamping friends and show them that just a few stamps and colors can create very different looks. Here's what you'll need... along with the directions.
STAMPS
3-4 stamps
CARDSTOCK & INK
white or vanilla
one piece of designer paper (If it's double sided, you can use both prints!)
1-2 additional solid colors of cardstock
TOOLS & EMBELLISHMENTS
*any*
Keyword: LSC160
DIRECTIONS: Make 2-4 cards using the SAME stamps, designer paper, and color scheme. Things that can change to make each card unique are layouts, tools and accessories. The main idea is to get many different looks using the same stamps, designer paper, and colors. It can also show the importance of tools, embellishments, and layouts on cards... how it can really make a card great and how it can really change the look of an image for a totally new card.
UPLOADING: Scan or take a picture of all the cards together and call it "Which one?" In the comments section, you may want to ask viewers to tell you which one is their fave. *Don't forget to put LSC160 in the keyword box!* Have fun stamping!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Sounds like a fun challenge, Jen but I think i'm going to sit this one out. I just can't get into DP that well, I'd rather use background stamps. lol Can't wait to see what everyone else does though.
Fun challenge - I'll sleep on it and be back in the morning!

This challenge will be fun! And it's important to remind ourselves to make the most of the stamps and dp's we already own... (okay, I admit, there's some fun in buying more and more new stamps, too:oops.

Jen, this is such a fun challenge! Unfortunately (well, for stamping anyway!), I am on vacation and have no stamps! :(
So I will do this one when I get home. It will be fun to comment on everyone else's though!
