Default nine cards from one 12x12?

Does anyone know this method?
You get 9 complete cards from one randomly stamped 12x12 sheet of paper.
Thank you.

Well, not that I have an answer for you, but I did not want your post to go below the bottom....it sounds like the one sheet wonder thing, but I don't know that you could get nine complete cards...I guess maybe you could, but some of the pieces would, seemingly, have to be just pieces of the card-like a small layered piece or something. Hopefully, someone else will see this and know....sorry..

Hi - I think you are referring to Karen Gregorian's infamous one-sheet-wonder (henceforth known in the stamping realm as an 'OSW').

I hope this attachments helps; I downloaded it from the SU demo site.

However, this attachment is for a 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock, not 12 x 12.

In the Stamper's Sampler Take Ten Vol. 3, there is an example of a peice of card stock stamped and then cut up to be used on 10 different cards. From the sample it looks like a peice of 8 1/2X11. I don't know how to explain all the cuts that were made to make it fit the 10 cards.

Thanks for the download Cindy. I think I will try that. I missed it on the SU site.

Default Nine Cards from one 12 x 12

I did the One Sheet Wonder at a workshop last week using the template from Take Ten III...I didn't have Lovely Leaves so substitued the large leaf from Botanicals and the acorn and curly thingie from Fall Whimsey....I also used three different colors for the card bases rather than using all one color. My ladies loved it and were thrilled with their cards. I charged $20.00 for the workshop.

This would be such a beautiful set to give as a gift. Try it with Roses in Winter...gorgeous!!

A workshop last Friday: I demo'd two card fronts and a post-it note holder from an OSW (8.5 x 11).

Card fronts were adhered onto mellow moss card base using 3/8" olive organdy.

This ultra-ultra-simplified version of the OSW went over very well.

There was a left over strip....easy tags....
