Default Typepad vs. Blogger

Just curious if you would please share the pros and cons of Typepad and Blogger. I currently have Blogger for my personal blog but need to create a blog for work. If Typepad has better options I just might go that way for the new blog. Thanks for your input.

I have one on blogger and one on typepad. I think that typepad gives a few more options when you upgrade to pro or above. I just happen to like the layout of typepad better for some reason.

Typepad pricing is located here: http://www.typepad.com/pricing/

I played around with a few free blogging services, but, found them frustrating and limiting, due to my own limitations with html, etc., so then I tried Typepad. Absolutely l*o*v*e it! Been worth every penny to me!

I have to agree with Julie. I tried to create a blog on a couple of the free sites and just about went nuts trying to figure it out and it was very limiting. I just joined typepad and LOVE it. It is well worth it! I haven't finished working on mine but it is coming along nicely and even someone that is as challenged as I am right now with being on medication..lol........try it. I believe they have a 14 day "free" trial.

Question for you Julie, since you are on typepad too, how do you add a photo that links you directly to a site in the sidebar???

Default Blogging

Hi, just yesterday I was looking into starting a blog. I just opened up my new on-line craft store and wanted to have a blog to go along with. I have been reading LOTS of blogs and on a few some said they were switching to typepad. From everything I have been hearing blogger is good for FREE to get started, but if I'm gonna do it, might as well start off right...
Typepad it is :-D
