I would venture to say that most people on this site use home-based companies like Stampin' Up!, Close to My Heart, or The Angel Company. You can also shop with the member companies which have forums here on splitcoast. I've shopped with GinaK. and My Favorite Things and highly reccommend them. Papertrey Ink is also very popular but is no longer a member company. As for online sites, try ginak, myfavoritethings, papertreyink, eclecticpaperie, or allthatscraps
My favorites are:
Cornish Heritage Farms
Gina K
I brake for stamps
Papertrey Ink
Viva Las Vegas stamps.
I have had great service from all and highly recommend them.
Stamping Bella is awesome. I am a SU Demo so of course I love them. Whipper Snapper Designs are good too. Oh, My Favorite Things. There is a forum on here of Splitcoast member stores. There are a lot of fellow SCS'ers who have their own stamp stores. Good luck!
I love the way the sets coordinate perfectly and make each purchase versitile, I love the quality, I love the professional images, I love the accessories, matching paper $& ink, I love the demo support. I'm not saying I 'won't' buy others bc I will (and have) if I like it enough, but 99% of what I own is Stampin Up!
I am a SU demo, so I have tons of SU stuff. I do however, LOVE papertrey ink. Their sets are amazing and their customer service is out of this world. If you spend $40, S&H is free!!! They package their merchandise beautifully, also! Hope this helps!
I use mostly SU for paper and some embellishments, but I LOVE Hambo Stamps (they are seriously hysterical) and Eat Cake Graphics (whimsical lined images). Both are priced great and high quality deeply etched red rubber...and you get a choice of mounted or unmounted with both. I also like many of the images at Whipper Snapper... they are good quality but a bit on the expensive side.

I'm another Cornish Heritage Farms fan - the quality is fabulous and their customer service is excellent, they couldn't be more helpful. Great selection of images too and the background stamps are fantastic! Most stamps come with a choice of wood mounted or just on cling cushion if you prefer an acrylic block. If you're in the US, shipping is free on orders over $35.
I just bought my first Crafty Secrets set (they're a member company here) and although I usually prefer rubber to clear polymer, these are great - nice clear impressions and they don't distort like some clear stamps seem to do unless you're really careful about how much pressure you put on.
A Muse has fabulous stamps and exceptional customer service! Here's a link (on the left you will see *New* Online Shopping): http://www.amusenews.typepad.com/
