This weeks inspiration piece is this beautifully detailed Double Irish Chain Shamrock Quilt. If you click through the website, there are additional close-up pictures of some of the individual design elements. Remember, you dont have to make a St. Patricks Day card let your inspiration journey take you wherever it wants to go.
Thanks for the fabulous participation in last weeks challenge, especially to all of you first time ICers cant wait to see what you come up with this week.
Make sure you use the keyword: IC118 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card.
How to Play ~ View the attached image. You may be inspired to recreate the piece ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Talk about inspiration! How beautiful. Thanks Stef.

I totally love quilts and quilting!!! I used to quilt with my grandmother when I was a kid...many, many moons ago. The irony is, I do not know my way around a sewing machine because we did it all by hand. Anyways, enough rambling and reminiscing...I created a card about a month ago that was inspired by a quilt I saw. The colors do not match the challenge image, but I thought I would share it anyway.
Here it is: Just a Card by Aunt Carol at Splitcoaststampers
I'm hoping to make another using a springtime theme.

Hi! WOW! Fantastic challenge! I have no guilt in using this "Lucky Little Guy!" LOL! (I PROMISED Markie I would use him today, NO MATTER WHAT!!!) Maybe his luck rubbed off?
Boy, this one has me stumped. Gotta do some research in my stampin' spot. Hope to be back later today!
