Qbee's Flower Pot Box Template
I designed this Flower Pot Box Template after seeing the box in the 2008 Sell-A-Bration catalog (p.11). I liked the original box, but I thought it would look even cuter with slightly more angled sides. I also wanted it a little larger. My finished box is 2" wide at the base 3" wide at the top and stands not quite 3" high.
Update: Please note that I have added a PDF file.

I love your flower pot and would love the template to use for centerpieces at a senior citizen luncheon coming up next month. I have a Mac computer and can't use the doc format. Is there anyone who could convert the template to a pdf format and post it here?
Thanks,
Sheryl

Jan, do you have microsoft word on your computer? If you don't have that program it won't open for you. If you send me a PM (personal mail), I may be able to make it a pdf for you with Qbee's permission to do so.

Thanks so much for offering to do this. However, I was able to add the PDF file myself (see post #1). In the past, I have had problems converting the document to PDF format and maintaining the accuracy (or aspect ratio) of the template. This time I converted the template from the original JPG and it worked perfectly (the original template lines up with the PDF version). Hopefully from now on I will be posting the PDF version of my templates along with the document version at the same time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I covered the long fold lines in your word document with no-line text boxes so I could print the Word document template right onto my cardstock. We're going to make these for St. Patty's Day. Fun! Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you so much, Brenda! These boxes are so cute. You have made it so easy to be creative! : )
How do you make yours that your lines don't show?

I print a copy of the template on regular printer paper. I do a quick first cut around the template (I just cut away most of the excess, but don't cut all the way to the lines. I then adhere my template to the card stock or designer paper with removable Dotto (just a few dabs here and there so it doesn't shift while cutting). After, I cut out the template right on top of the card stock. I also score right on top of the template with a ruler and a the small end of my stylus tool. Once I have cut and scored, I peel the template away, leaving a perfectly cut and scored piece. You can remove any Dotto residue with an adhesive remover or most of the time it can just be rubbed away with your finger.
**You can get several pieces of card stock cut and scored from just one printing of the template. Good Luck with your project. Let us know how it goes.
