bleeding ink

I noticed while stamping with my new favorite friends stamp set that the classic black bled a bit on the ultra smooth white. Happened to you? Any suggestions?

You could try a lighter touch. I've found that it happens when I'm pressing down too hard with the stamp. See if that helps.

I will usually ink up my stamp then stamp it very lightly on a scratch piece of paper before stamping on glossy cs or vellum.
It works well for me.
