I love Big Birthday Candle and just ordered it. It works for anyone, including guys -- just stamp using guy colors or on patterned paper.
Also, love using Flannel Background and using a sentiment as the focal point. It is simple and depending on the colors, definitely masculine.
I have Noble Deer (not sure if current), but my none of the guys in my life are into wildlife stuff, so I rarely use it. Come to think of it, my DH's birthday is in 2 days. Maybe it is time to introduce him to Noble Deer!

I just asked dh for his opinion on all the masculine sets in the catty. He was no help. He asked if there were any that had airplanes in them. He's an airplane mechanic. That would have been great. Some old style airplanes...SU never made anything like that, did they?
Bronco Buster! And for a BG stamp, Canvas or Aida Cloth can make anything a bit more masculine. I love it with greens and blues. Here is a link to it's gallery:
What about teenage boys? Any suggestions? I'm doing a card with stars for my grandson's 13th because I couldn't come up with anything else. His interest is music & theater and is persuing acting. Any ideas will be appreciated.
My favorite is Loads Of Love. I have filled it with golf balls and baseballs.
I have paper pieced it with camoflauge paper. It's great for all occasions
and all ages.
nothing that really impresses me.
but i would like to see a more vintage looking set that has some of the above mentioned- things like an airplane, train (locomotive), car, and boat.

Ditto, my guys love the loads of love set and I tend to use that the most when I want something manly. Its all about the colors you choose as well. I just made a card using birthday whimsy in the sale-a-bration catalog and it totally worked for a guy.
don't you think it is hard to pick and love a set. i feel you need to see cards/projects made w/ them first.
check out the gallery.
i do love the set "loads of love"
I like Lovely as a Tree - that set can be used for ANYTHING! I made a guy b'day card using brown and caramel & Tree - turned out great. I also like Winds of Grace - that sailboat makes me yearn for summer...sigh. That will be my guy b'day card this year, even though none of my guys sail. Noble Deer and that other wildlife set are both possibilities.
