TLC 157 I'm All Mixed Up (2/25/08)
Thanks so much Beth for this wonderful opportunity to guest host the Technique Lovers Challenge!
So much of my crafting style is influenced by the fashion and home decorating worlds. Growing up, my Mother taught me NEVER to mix patterns. I used to cringe when I saw polka dots paired up with stripes or large flowers with anything other than a solid. Well HGTV has taught me a thing or two about that!!
Todays challenge is to create a card of mixed patterns using two or more designer papers. No designer papers? GASP! Then create different backgrounds with your stamps.
When you upload, please put TLC157 in the keyword section when you upload, and then post a link to your card here in this thread.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us STAMPIN' !!

I can't wait to play bright and early...of course after I get my daughter on her way back to school in the morning...they just had midwinter break...I'm ready for a return to normalcy around here!
Thanks Linda. I love using DP's.........the more the better!!!!

Cool challenge, Linda - thanks for hosting. Yep, HGTV has been a big influence on designs today - my mom was like yours - no mixing patterns - well, watch that gallery grow into something fantastic with awesome cards!
